“If there was anything beyond petty, we would know it by now.”
People are stupid and shallow. It may be stupid petty things that take any of the candidates down. Things like looks and height have determined who became president in the past, so why not superficial considerations like this nonsense? I mean, half the Left is voting for Hilalry merely because she’s a “woman”. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Walker is better than most of the others, so I wish him luck.

You are wrong about Walker.
Cruz is a good guy and will be a better candidate once he has some executive experience. We need a seasoned Governor that will fight for states rights.
Where is his influence in the Senate? A 24 hour speech.
He is a good talker, but I want someone that can get things done.
You are wrong that Walker is not a conservative.
I am not sure that Cruz could win, perhaps you don’t remember what LBJ did to Goldwater?

Your
PRO-AMNESTY Candidate, Scott Walker, is PROVED to be TALKING OUT OF BOTHS SIDES OF THE ISSUE (
you CAN NOT TRUST him ! ).
Watch the videos and READ the article from
HOT AIR, most certainly not on your list of band-sources.
... Two points. One: He says hes not for amnesty, his citizenship stance notwithstanding, but thats not a new soundbite for Walker.
Amnesty means many things to many people;to the Gang of Eight, for instance, the fact that illegals would be forced to meet certain requirements (paying back taxes, etc) before qualifying for citizenship meant that their plan wasnt amnesty.
Walkers been insisting for more than a year that he doesnt support amnesty eithereven though he does support citizenship and liberalizing the rules for legal immigration.
Two: Hes quick to tell Raddatz that hell lay out his own immigration plan eventually if he becomes a candidate, which is his way of saying dont ask me anything too specific right now.
Listening to him here, you would think he didnt have firm opinions on immigrationyet beyond some basic principles like secure the border.
But thats not so.
Watch him field a question on immigration from 2013 in the second clip below and note what he says about border security at around 1:30.
For Walker, securing the border is less a matter of building a fence or hiring 10,000 new Border Patrol agents than it is about RELAXING THE RULES for legal admission to the U.S.
His view seems to be
Let's keep LOSER Walker in his home state.
We don't need any more SELLOUTS in Washington D.C., and especially in the Oval Office!
Now here's a source you might like.

Then why is he so far in front?
Walker is Chamber of Commerce all the way. He would kill us in the White House.
Only Cruz has the intellect and understanding to come out on top.
Cruz or lose!

Cruz is ten times the Conservative Walker is and I'll never vote for Walker.
True enough that Cruz is more conservative than Walker. But if Walker becomes the Republican nominee, do you actually think any true conservative is going to believe that the Democrat - whoever it is - will be better than Walker? That is not good thinking, my friend. Hopefully you are just trolling and don't really believe that broken spinach.

Cruz or lose!
That is the problem with many Cruz supporters.
It is their guy or the highway.
Take your ball and go home if you are unwilling to support the best candidate that is nominated.
Did you vote for Romney or stay home?
Support your candidate, but we will all certainly lose with that attitude. Then you have 4 more years of Obama or Clintoon or whoever.
Your comment: “Then why is he so far in front?
RCP poll today lists Cruz as 7th with 8%? So How far ahead is he?

How about Walker / Cruz...
Or Cruz / Walker....
Either option would be awesome..IMO.
We Conservatives need to stop fighting...and figure out who we will support. We are not going to be 100% satisfied with anyone...I expect.
But we need to take back control of this country...or my kids, your kids will suffer.

FYI
The state motto of Wisconsin is “Forward”.
The Wisconsin state motto was adopted in 1851 as an element of the seal and coat-of-arms.
This was adopted well before Obama or Clintoons came into existence.

You said he needed to be vetted to find out what dirt he has. That is your Litmus test or whatever you want to call it.No. I said Cruz has not been tested. Walker has been tested by both being vetted and by actually having to lead a state.
It is a simple contrast between the two, not a litmus test. You made up the litmus test for some unknown reason.
There is no dirt btw and it probably drives Walker-bots nuts.
Not at all. I hope Cruz is clean. It is healthy to have two solid conservatives out there.
So tell me exactly how that's not a Litmus test? And there's no need for being rude like most other Walker-Bots because if you're trying to win people over to the Walker camp you're doing it wrong.
There is nothing rude in what I said. There is no litmus test.
I think you are reading things that are not there....and it is you, who called me a Walker-bot, as if that it is an insult.
I think Walker is a RINO btw, a Romney in disguise.
You are entitled to come to your own conclusions, but Walker has governed as a better conservative than Reagan, when he was governor of California. I do not see how you arrive at your conclusion, except to "infer" things many of us do not see.
Cruz is ten times the Conservative Walker is and I'll never vote for Walker.
Again, it is hard to compare a first-term Senator, with no real accomplishments (other than speeches) under his belt against a second-term governor with a clear track record that can be examined.
You should read, not listen, to Walkers speeches, I do, and he speaks words the same way Obama did and doesn't pin himself down on issues that matter.
Maybe you should look at Walker's RECORD of actions he took as governor. It's funny because Romney gave great speeches, but governed as a RINO.
With Walker, you are not interested in his actual work as governor.
Instead, you tell everyone to focus on his speeches.....which, as you say, do not allow you to pin him down......but you can pin him down somehow.

You have been proven to be an absolute LIAR on the subject of Walker.
Wisconsin's State Motto is "Forward" but you want to use that to allude Walker is a communist.
You were told before about that, but your continued posting of this LIE shows your mental imbalance.
Please seek help.

I quote
Scott Walker and his PRO-AMNESTY position:
Endorses path to citizenship for immigrant workers
Scott Walker distanced himself from House Republicans debating a new immigration bill by endorsing a path to citizenship for immigrant workers.Walker acknowledged that a substantial number of Wisconsin farms depend on migrant workers, some of them here illegally.
He also was sharply critical of how difficult the federal government makes it for those workers to come to this country. "If people want to come here and work hard and benefit, I don't care whether they come from Mexico or Ireland or Germany or Canada or South Africa or anywhere else," he said.
"I want them here."
The Democratic-led U.S. Senate passed an immigration bill last week that features a path to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants already in the U.S.
Many conservative House Republicans oppose the bill, viewing it as rewarding law-breakers.
He said as a gubernatorial candidate in 2010 that he would sign an Arizona-style bill, which would allow local police to stop suspected illegal immigrants.
Make it easier to enter the country legally
Walker said he is in favor of the Senate immigration bill--that features a path to citizenship--but called it a backward "Band-Aid" approach,
saying elected leaders should make it easier for people to enter the country and become legal citizens in the first place. "Not only do they need to fix things for people already here, or find some way to do it, there's got to be a larger way to fix the system in the first place," he said.
"Because if it wasn't so cumbersome, if there wasn't such a long wait, if it wasn't so difficult to get in, we wouldn't have the other problems that we have (with people living here illegally)," he said.
Walker's stance on immigration reform evolved over the years.
2010: stop suspected illegals; 2012: that's a distraction
Walker's stance on immigration reform evolved over the years.
He said as a gubernatorial candidate in 2010 that he would sign an Arizona-style bill, which would allow local police to stop suspected illegal immigrants, if he were elected.
Then, in December 2012, Walker said he no longer favored such a bill, telling reporters that such legislation would become a "huge distraction" from accomplishing his agenda for the state.
Today, Walker said he would support a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants under some circumstances.

Ted Cruz: Why I voted YES for Corker Iran bill
May 7, 2015, Tom Cotton
The Corker Iran bill passed the Senate 98-1 today and if you are like me, you are wondering if that one ‘no’ vote was Ted Cruz. Well, it wasn’t. He, along with all of his Republican colleagues voted to pass the Corker Iran bill despite the fact that it cedes treaty power in regard to this Iran nuclear deal to Obama. Cruz explains why in a press release from just moments ago:
WASHINGTON, D.C. U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, released the following statement regarding votes on the Iran Nuclear Review Act:
This bill was a missed opportunity. If Congress had acted to defend our constitutional authority if Congress had adopted the Cruz-Toomey amendment then we would be able to stop a bad Iran deal. Instead, the odds are now overwhelming that under these ground rules President Obama will negotiate, and Congress will acquiesce to, a terrible deal that allows Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and will endanger the lives of millions of Americans and our allies.
I voted no on cloture because we should have insisted on amendments to put real teeth in this bill. Ultimately, I voted yes on final passage because it may delay, slightly, President Obama’s ability to lift the Iran sanctions and it ensures we will have a Congressional debate on the merits of the Iran deal. I will continue to lead the fight to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to protect the national security of America and our allies.
At least Cruz is honest about this bill and isn’t acting as though it were some big victory, like McConnell and Corker:
Without this bill, there is no review, Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said during the closing debate, which shut off a bid from younger conservatives to toughen the language even if meant a collapse of support for the oversight. No bill, no review.
Many wish the bill was stronger. I dont disagree with them, but this is a piece of legislation worthy of our support, McConnell said Wednesday during a floor speech. It offers the best chance we have to provide the American people and the Congress they elect with power to weigh in on a vital issue.
So who was the one person to vote against the bill?

Dont you appreciate a person that stands by his responsibilities?Absolutely. Walker is demonstrating that he is doing the job the people of Wisconsin elected him to do first. Other considerations come after. That's a man who keeps his hand to the plow. That's the kind of man we need representing us! I hope Walker jumps in!

Well, hes already been targeted for not going to college or whatever and for his beliefs concerning evolution. Plus, the Unions do a pretty fair job demonizing him, no? I think that he will be flayed alive for petty things.
“Well, hes already been targeted for not going to college or whatever ... “or whatever” is that he did actually go to college—as I understand it, he just did not finish his last semester.
Plus, the Unions do a pretty fair job demonizing him, no? I think that he will be flayed alive for petty things....IMHO The unions really did not do a fair job of demonizing him or he would not have won elections/survived recall.

You must be talking about yourself as the one who calls Walker a “Communist” without even knowing the Wisconsin motto and seal. Perhaps an apology would be appropriate.
I was aware of Cruz’s reasons, but reported the news media take. Even through Cruz tried, he had no real influence on the Republican leadership in the Senate and couldn’t stop Obama’s deal. How effective will he be as a candidate or as President? ABC recently asked him about experience.
I want an effective leader than can get a conservative agenda through the process. Walker has done that. Cruz has a few Supreme Court wins.
I like Cruz, but I don’t like an all or nothing approach to the nomination.
