Cringing Negativism Network :" Trump is all alone, in aggressively supporting American businesses."

Skipping the last sentance
Trump is all about Trump, alone . A true Narcissist !
He is not about Dems
He is not about Repubs
He is out for himself, recognition, and self-agrandizement ; that person is called a Narcissist.
We have already seen what a Narcissist can do to a country, and are not amused !
Anyone who celebrates HB-1 and alignes with the Chamber of Commerce whose intent is to sending more jobs overseas to lower cost, & does NOT support support American labor
and does NOT get my support !
Better to get support from the "Grand Toupeee" party with topical glue ; they can change with the vagarities of the wind !

Trump isn’t trustworthy. He supported hillary in the past.
He’s just a fascist chamber of commerce guy. He’d sellout this country to enrich himself.

the concept of supporting American jobs by keeping the American dream alive, by supporting freedom and lower taxes and lower regulation and more opportunity...just whooshes right over his astonishingly low economic IQ.

“Ah wants me sum ‘merikun jobs!!!!!”

Stating the fact that Trump believes in a nationwide three day waiting period is “anti-Trump”?

Stating the fact that Trump wants to ban “assault weapons” nationwide is “anti-Trump”?

Sounds like the unvarnished truth is that Donald Trump is anti-Second Amendment.

I don’t believe he is anti-gun.

I really don’t. I could be wrong, but I don’t see it at the moment.

Trump has a carry license. I believe it is from New York. That is VERY RARE.

I think he supports the 2nd Amendment. If I am wrong about this, my apologies but I do not believe so.

Do you have a source, you could direct me to? Not some place which just claims things, but an actual source?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like he may be for the 2nd Amendment when it comes to himself but is he for it for all of the citizenry?

I don’t know.

I do not believe Trump is anti-2nd Amendment.

To tell the truth if he is, I’ll stop supporting him. But I don’t see it.

If anyone has an actual source (as opposed to “I think”, or some such), please post away.

I really don’t see it.

In what weird world would this not completely disqualify him for running for ANYTHING as a republican?

Here you go. Please try to explain how a brand new, national three-day waiting period and banning "assault weapons" is somehow not wildly anti-gun. While you're at it, please explain what "assault weapons" are.

Donald Trump said:

"I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s Internet technology we should be able to tell within 72-hours if a potential gun owner has a record."

Source: The America We Deserve, by Donald Trump, p.102 , July 2, 2000

Trump wrote this in his own book. What more do you need?

I suppose you think its awesome that he bought himself an NYC gun permit, which are denied to regular citizens who can't afford to bribe their way through the process. The rest of us are less than impressed.

I looked this up.

Here is another quote from the same page, of the same book. Donald Trump:

“It’s often argued that the American murder rate is high because guns are more available here than in other countries. Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed. The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions.”

While I admit his position isn’t perfect, he gets it.

To a point.

Those were what Donald said in the year 2000.

Eleven years later his position seems to have morphed slightly:

“I am pro-life,” he said. “I am against gun control.”

While I have some concerns, he is not anti-gun.

At least he doesn’t appear to be, to me.

Not perfect, but not bad.

Trump has never been about anything other than promoting Trump. Any pretense at ideology, whether conservative or not, has always been just a ploy to keep his name in the headlines and his mug in the limelight.

Which is fine, except for the fact that you have a certain contingent of people who seem to take this sleazy clown seriously as a serious political thinker and contender.
