Donald Trump broached the idea of execution for National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden for the second time in a week Monday.
"I think Snowden is a terrible threat, I think he's a terrible traitor, and you know what we used to do in the good old days when we were a strong country? You know what we used to do to traitors, right?" Trump said on the "Fox & Friends" program.
"Well, you killed them, Donald," host Eric Bolling replied.
Trump appears highly distressed with the whole affair. Snowden is in a Moscow airport, and the U.S. government wants him back to face espionage charges.
"This guy is really doing damage to this country, and he's also making us looks like dopes," Trump said. "We can't allow this guy to go out there and give out all our secrets and also embarrass us at every level. We should get him back and get him back now."
Last week on Fox, Trump said, "Spies in the old days used to be executed. ... There is still a thing called execution. ... Unless the retribution is swift and really strong, you're going to have other people coming out with more information than he's done."

A whistle blower is someone who goes to a higher authority like congress and spills the beans.. Not transmit it all over the world and probably got people killed.. This guy is a traitor and has committed treason!!!
I think the word The Donald is groping for is “assassination”.
You don’t understand, do you? This is the man who could really tell who to go to. And there was nobody....no higher authority to go to. Not Congress, not the Supremes and certainly not the Administration.
Think about that for awhile. for this was a guy who could know that answer.

If that was true (treason is capital punishment) then we should see many of our leaders that sold out our economy and country to China while leaving illegal immigrants run rampant charged and held accountable.
But then this is America where big shots can do what they want even if it is un-Constitutional and never pay a price.

I agree. We’re being torn apart by the media who pit us against each other on little stuff while the nation goes to hxll because of big un-Constitutional stuff and anti-American policies.
Trump sometimes says some stuff that makes sense, but fundamentally he is a media whxxx.
You mean if we are not doing anything wrong we have nothing to worry about? Somehow I do not think the framers of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution were that trustworthy of government.

I don’t know, when the government is run by traitors is it treason to work against them?
At the rare Trump changes positions tomorrow he will call him a hero.
He gave whistleblowers a good name. I needed some backup.
Who likes Eric Bolling? I don’t get Fox. He’s said some weird stuff from time to time.
