The NCC will doubtless lead the charge to institute chrislam to re-establish order after the rapture takes away those pesky Christians who insist God does not err.

You are misinformed at best. Animals do not submit to unnatural penetration. Come out to the Midwest and we will show you.

You have no understanding of anatomy or science if you think colorectal tissue was made for penetration. Not to mention the diseases that this unclean activity results in...

"You can argue that Genesis is parable."

Not so. When Jesus spoke in parables, He made clear He was doing so, and gave meanings for various words He used as illustrations.

When it comes to Genesis, Hebrew teaching regards it as an historical account. In fact, that is the way it's written.

If we consider Genesis to be anything but factual, the rest of the Bible, and God's purpose of redemption, falls apart. He used those books to clearly show us how sin entered the human race, why creation fell under His righteous anger, and why we need that redemption.

Elsewhere throughout the Bible, the people mentioned in Genesis are referred to as real---historical, not mythical---individuals. The Apostle Paul spoke of sin entering the world through one man, and he called that man by name---Adam.

Jesus talked about the creation of Adam and Eve, and Noah and the flood, as real historical people & events.

Do we really need this swill at FR? The homos dominate too much of society already, must we discuss their degeneracy in all things? Trying to force aversion therapy on us?

Indeed. The prohomosex polemics have been examined and refuted by God's grace.

That struck me as odd. Modern physics, anthropology, archeology and DNA mapping, etc. make it clear that portions of the Bible are not true.

And we all KNOW that science is settled, never changes, and is written in stone.

Oh, wait a minute......

Wow, I was just thinking along similar lines on the way to church this morning...

How can they be so confident in their science that tickles their ears and basically affirms it’s OK to do whatever you please. Yet they crave supposedly crave truth, while they never read nor understand Biblical teaching. Never ask the deeper questions or the corollaries.

Like What If the God of the Bible changed his mind as often as the ‘god of science’...

Folks that trust the proof of their science trumps the proven truth in the God of the Bible may find exactly what they’re looking for in this world, but will be sorely disappointed at the end of it all.

Agreed, M9.

Jan, I enumerated just a few excuses made on behalf homosexuality adding the requisite twist of absurdity.

I think he has created the pastor’s responses out of whole cloth, then argued against the made-up arguments.

Some people call that lying. Apparently, some homosexuals call that well-reasoned argument.

I have come to the conclusion that I shouldn’t display or act in ways that condone or make adultery look okay. That has included giving up a number of movies, games, TV, and choosing not to have certain posters on my wall personally. Actions aren’t magical, there’s usually a path of being more approving of them prior to committing them. At least that’s my conclusion, and I turned from a lot of issues that may have been pointing in the wrong path.

I call it strawmen, and a lot of leftists like to do it because otherwise, most of whom they hate so badly really doesn’t look that bad, with over 99 percent likely never doing anything serious against them.

The thing that Christians do the most that “make adultery look okay” aren’t even the things you have eliminated, but their prosaic records in marriage.

... and fixing this will not involve superficials nearly so much as it will involve a new embrace of the Lord.

The “gay rage” seems to me to be a way that God is warning what a mockery Christendom has made of sexual purity. It is a matter of salt having become unsalty, to use the biblical metaphor.

Guilt and forgiveness.

Humility before God.

Pride.

Socially acceptable ways OUT.

An increasing number of acceptable ways people can deny their nature and deny God.

All for thy self.

There is likely nothing I can say regarding this issue that hasn’t been already said,,.

Once said, is to be defined, once defined is to be rejected by those the message is intended to reach.
