Yes, Cleveland police Officer Michael Brelo stood on a car and shot 15 times at the vehicle's unarmed black occupants seconds after he and fellow officers first riddled the car with bullets in 2012 -- but the shooting was justified, a judge ruled Saturday.
Concluding just one of several police use-of-force cases that prompted recent outrage in Cleveland, a Cuyahoga County judge decided that Brelo was not guilty of voluntary manslaughter and felonious assault in the deaths of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams following a 22-mile car chase.

“Those known facts are first that the car was still running, and under Brelos observation the occupants were still moving. Up until that point the chase had taken place over 22 miles of driveways, parking lots, roads, and highways, and Russell had shown no intention of giving up. Russell had just rammed patrol car #238, but his car was not so wedged by #238 that his vehicle could not still be used as a weapon.”
There didn't used to be "police everywhere". Our Owners had to wait till well after the Founders all died to implememt the Police State.
There didn't used to be "prosecutors everywhere", either, in the beginning of the Republic. Full-time police & prosecutors are a relatively new thing.
Once they figured out how to keep the perpetual funding pump primed (catch & release on guys like Daron Wint & Brack Oblabya), the taxpeasants were toast.
Our streets ARE a lot more dangerous, because "the fear" keeps the perpetual funding pump primed.
There didn't used to be police departments everywhere, and the early American Republic didn't collapse into criminal chaos.
They handled it - and they didn't keep serial murderers on death row for 20 years.
Even if it takes 115 rounds to do it.
“The two men were armed.
They had a two thousand pound car.
They had already used that car to ram a police cruiser, so they knew how to use it.”
I completely agree - and they demonstrated that the would definitely use it again if given a chance. OTOH...what happened at the link here? How far does that law stretch? a lot of witnesses say that the policeman deliberately jumped on the hood.
From the perspective of the rest of the world, It would appear that Justice is not only blind in the United States... but DEAF and MUTE as well,
In North America... Justice kneels and weeps in grief...!!
The rest of the world is more than welcome to adopt our ghetto populace anytime they wish.
Abuse of a corps x2 for his charge and littering
