From Breitbart last night late

Little by little info is trickling out which will lead to more informed knowledge of what actually happened

Justification or not

“appears to have been a legitimate, organized gathering of motorcycle riders meeting to discuss political issues. “

Well, I have to admit, that almost sounds plausible seeing how many such events usually end up in some sort of altercation.

They were baddies but I`d wager every killing was at the hands of the cops.

“Sharpton wont be bugging us about this, so full auto is OK, boys..”

Actually, I remember that the info at the very beginning was that the organization was a legitimate group of mostly decent bikers, but these two outlaw clubs came ready to rumble with each other and did indeed find a “provocation” (which can mean, “Mama, he looked at me funny, make him stop”) that set off their fragile criminal egos.

The owner of the restaurant really should have let the police be present. Most of the bikers wouldn’t have minded it, since they weren’t up to anything wrong, and the thugs would have been warned off.

I said it before - The Bikers and Marines are going to be an odd alliance to take back the country

It is looking more and more like a couple of conservative biker ‘gangs’ were getting together to discuss the sorry state of the country, and some pro-government po-po types got antsy and started shooting at some perceived threat.

I have seen enough video of police shooting totally unarmed men lately to NOT discount this possibility.

"Texas Law Enforcement has had a difficult job dealing with biker gangs. One frustration is that some groups like the Bandidos combine legitimate elements (with charity rides) with criminal (like meth dealing.)"

Organized political gathering?

That headline wins the lamest spin of the day award.

This was an organized CRIME meeting. Any biker clubs there were ordered to be there by the Bandidos.

IMHO when this is all said and done either the city of Waco, the Feds or someone is going to be shelling out a lot of money. This will be a lawyers dream.

The fact it was a legitimate, organized gathering of motorcycle riders meeting to discuss political issues does not preclude it was also a gathering of criminal biker gangs with violent intent.

The former does not necessarily exclude the latter

It was legitimate untilna fist fight turned into a gunfight.....that is more than a simple violation of Robert’s Rules of Order.

‘Something’s rotten in the City of Waco.’

And I’m not sure it was the clubs.

From the OP article:

However, the very political nature of the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents and its website raise troubling First Amendment questions about the police trying to pressure a business to shut down a lawful political meeting that had never led to problems previously, regardless of the people at that meeting.

A regular record of peaceable assembly for political purposes.
