They were baddies but I`d wager every killing was at the hands of the cops.

“Sharpton wont be bugging us about this, so full auto is OK, boys..”

Baddies?

Most of those guys didn’t look like baddies to me.

In fact, most bikers I’m familiar with in CA, make these guys look like choir boys.

No joke.

every killing was at the hands of the cops.

All reports indicate that each of the nine deaths were the responsibility of the police, none of whom were stationed in the restaurant, and among whom were several snipers; command and control (so to speak) were in the parking lot.

A pushing match, originating in the restaurant Men's Room, about 45 minutes before the scheduled meeting, accelerated into a wrestling match with knives pulled. It is said the "dispute" maneuvered out the main entrance where one of the "disputant's" colleagues pulled out "a handgun," according to the Waco Police IO.

It was then, in the midst of this deteriorating situation, that shots were fired.

The Twin Peaks franchise owner had refused to "cancel" the gathering, and the "disappointed" police "authorities" responded by what might be considered an over-deployment, including "several snipers" and non-uniforms (sic) situated primarily in the parking lot.

I can only speculate about what seems obvious, without knowing more about the actual scene, including whether there may or may not be a nefarious motive for the clear use of propaganda, playing on the widespread (in certain cases very justified) prejudice against even the appearance of outlawry, to justify both deadly force and the wholesale arrests of more than a hundred "bikers."

Many other factors may unfortunately factor into what seems to have been an over-reaction. Among these may or may not be anxieties on the part of authorities about the War Games presently underway, for example.

All in all, not the best time and place to hold a biker gathering.

I can't help but wonder why, within an hour of the scheduled meeting time, there weren't uniforms in the restaurant.
