DETROIT — The state of Michigan is being sued over its refusal to change gender identities on driver’s licenses without a new birth certificate.
The ACLU says an amended birth certificate in Michigan requires proof of transgender surgery, although most transgender people don’t want surgery.
Secretary of State spokeswoman Gisgie Gendreau says the agency is following state law.

So if the male is still a male he can declare he is a woman on his driver’s license with no other proof? This is the definition of madness.

Beware of the vague, PC terms “constitutional” and “unconstitutional.” Low-information voters have probably been indoctrinated to think that only people that they regard as smarter than they are can know what’s constitutional and unconstitutional.
Politically correct interpretations of the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protections Clause aside, the states have never amended the Constitution to protect either gay or transgender issues. So the states are free to make laws which discriminate on the basis of sex where such issues are concerned.
Note that the only sex-related right that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect is voting rights as evidenced by the 19th Amendment.
The fabric that holds society together is increasingly unraveling..............we are doomed.
Amended Birth certificates? If you are born a dude, and later decide you are a chick. That doesn’t change the fact that you were born a dude.
