Remember, he once wrote to the effect that when push came to shove he would side with the Muslims. In his mind, he IS winning.

Of course the US is not "losing" against the Islamic State.

The Current Regime is a de facto ally of ISIS. The nation once known as "the United States of America" was just a convenient fiction for the installation of the major Islamic power in the world today.

There was a sea change, and most of the people within that territory on the North American continent were not aware of just how vast the change was. The Shi'ite sect is the more favored flavor of Islam at the moment, but since the Islamic State is Sunni, and their objective is to topple Bashar al-Assad in Syria, can't afford to get the Sunni bloc too mad with us at the moment.
