On a serious note, and back on the subject of law enforcement corruption, Sussex Borough PD in Sussex NJ was disbanded over drug related misconduct in 1992 or so.
Seems the drug evidence locker was, er, replaced with fakes, substitutes, or otherwise not genuine once logged into inventory.
Then Sussex Borough went with private security and used them as cops.
Two months later, a judge tossed it out.
