Matthew 18:3
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;
naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me."
Matthew 25:34-36
"Then they themselves also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?'
"Then He will answer them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
"These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
Matthew 25:44-46

Plus a little wisdom to know who is really homeless and who are the scammers. When I see able bodied people on street corners hustling for ‘donations’ my radar goes up.

That’s a very sweet story, and for this little boy, his mother handled it perfectly. However,most families i know, including the one i grew up in, would have shushed the boy and commanded him to be quiet or just let the restaurant handle it. You can tell he comes from a loving home. I get the impression it’s just Mom and Junior,no live in dad or other siblings. Many single parents with only one or two kids will treat the child as an equal or a friend. Each parental approach has pluses and minuses.

The kindness, innocence and sweetness of little children.... may we all still hold true to those feelings. This story is wonderful.. thank you for posting it, CW.

Can we assume that this young lad and his mother are believers in the religion of peace, love, forgiveness, humility and redemption? Can we assume they are church attending Christians?
