Nine people have been killed and 18 hospitalized in a shoot-out between rival biker gangs at a recruitment event in a Texas restaurant on Sunday afternoon.
What started as a physical fight in the bathroom spilled out into the bar and rapidly escalated to involve chains, clubs, knives and gunfire across Twin Peaks Bar and Grill in Waco, local media reports.
Diners, including young children, scrambled and many took shelter in the freezer as hundreds of gang members ran rampage around the booths, according to KXXV.

The outlaw ones are a bit like the Mafia. Treat them with respect and stay out of their business and they’ll generally do the same for you. Mexican “clubs” excepted, and my guess is that’s probably what we’ve got here. It would explain why the reporter refrained from naming the clubs involved. Locals would know who’s who and did what and why.
There are bikers and there are outlaw bikers.
It was a biker club that held the benefit to help my sister pay for her cancer treatment a couple weeks ago. Good folks who are mostly vets from the vietnam era all the way up to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Gotta love headline writers — Isn’t using the word “violent” in describing the clash somewhat unnecessary given that it follows the words “Nine dead”? What the hell other kind of clash would result in nine deaths, a peaceful one?
What I don’t like is the number of people posting here who seem to be okay with what amounts to summary execution.
Someone getting on a motorcycle is not automatically grounds to be shot.
I don’t think people realize that once it’s okay to shoot someone because “they’re just biker scum” it’s not much further to shooting someone because “they’re just Christian scum.”
Are these primarily white gangs? Are any one of these gangs heavily Hispanic versus the other gangs??? I can see the phony ‘diversity harmony’ cr*p coming to a head soon, especially with illegals overrunning us.. Is race in play here, or is this just old rivaries? Anyone know?

salt of the earth? well I am sure many of them are nice interesting people ... and many of them are biker trash. Personally I would not trust anyone that belongs to a gang. People can be smart yet act like complete idiots once they are operating within a mob.

WTF? We'll have to wait and see if SWAT turned this into a live fire training session. How many of the dead were shot by SWAT or the police?

Can't speak to TX but here in CA the Vagos and Mongol gangs are Hispanic and have a long and notorious rivalry with the Hell's Angels who are white. If memory serves the Vagos MC started when they were refused entry into the Hell's Angels because they were Mexican.

I turned on the newa..shocked. They emphasize these are gangs not biker clubs.
One of the gangs has a Mexican name, so that makes it pretty clear to me. The answer is to seal the borders and start massive deportation. No more amnesty for illegals!

It has been my experience that modern bikers, long hair jackets and all that are Drs and lawyers out having a hoot.
Very few are like the movies make it out to be.
Something happened here and I suspect our perps where from south of the border and the dispute was with brothers that where also from south of the border.
I pray that most of the dead were bad guys *hows that working out for ya*

The nice thing is that the outlaw MC's fly their colors proudly so its possible to identity the dangerous elements. It just takes a little information to differentiate between them and your local collection of dentists and accountants out for a weekend ride.
