I’m sure NSA already has the goods on them and they are already compromised. Even though the NSA doesn’t tap phones...in the land of the “free”.

Not much difference than being in the military then.

Yup. During riot control training, we were taught to never be alone with a female detainee.

The goal is to make it impossible for anyone to accuse you.

Once the Execu-Sluts got hold of this Sexual Harassment notion, and they saw how it could work for them

The congress guys have the fastest hands of any males. They take advantage of every opportunity. They are very personable but they are not simon pure.

It is not just about removing temptation. Billy Graham knew that any story about him that alleged sexual impropriety would be immediately accepted by a large portion of the population that was hostile to him and his ministry. So he was very careful to make it impossible for anybody to allege such a story, by never being in a position where it could be a he said/she said situation.

Standard practice for all traditionally religious Jews.

I bet Clarence Thomas wishes he had this policy, back in the day.

Thanks - I was going to mention this too.

Our pastor has a similar policy; he has a male secretary, and will not travel alone with a woman (must be at least one other person if traveling with a woman).

Which all begs the question - why? Simple; our adversary is is always seeking someone to devour, and sexual sin is such an easy trap (meal).

“...make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires...”

Nothing wrong with this. I’ve heard Billy Graham wouldn’t even ride alone with a woman in an elevator. Wisdom.

Only if you’re a Republican. Democrats are held to a lower standard.

I agree. When false allegations are being made against men, and the men are presumed guilty even after the evidence shows them to be innocent, what do people expect?

In this day and age, that’s a wise decision.

Billy Graham is a democrat. He says he avoided talking politics because he didn’t want to divide his flock:

When I was a general manager for a company, it was my policy to never be alone with a women employee or outside women rep...

It only took one time to be accused of sexual harassment.

Not to mention false claims of rape. I think they are using good judgment with this policy. Billy Graham did the same thing over the years of his ministry. It has nothing to do with their view that women are second-class citizens, but, everything to do with the ramifications of an assault on a person’s character.

There, fixed it.

Billy Graham wasn't removing temptation from his life, he was removing the possibility of a false claim of sexual harassment or worse. People in his position have to aggressively prevent false claims.

For example, when my pastor counsels a female, he always has another woman present taking notes along with the door open. This is not to remove any temptation of infidelity, this is to remove any possibilities of false claims. In addition, he will counsel a female only once. After that, they are referred to a Christian counseling service. He is never alone with another woman, ever. The same goes for the church staff. A man and a woman are not allowed to even be in a car together to go get lunch, etc.

As a coach, I only meet with a player one on one in public. If I am in a locker room and a player walks in, I leave. I tell every parent at the beginning of the season that players are not to friend me online or call me on their cell phones if they cannot make practice.
