It appears that former Texas Gov. Rick Perry has decided to run for president again -- and he is expected to make it official in three weeks, his wife indicated Friday.

On her Twitter account Friday, Anita Perry indicated that the three-term governor is excited about his potential to lead the country and asked supporters to attend an event in Dallas on June 4.

No, Rick. Just no.

I have an agenda. I want to vote for a conservative that meets the 5 issues I've always had. Perfection is not required.

I'll vote for Cruz and keep sending him real money.

Big whup.

None of our guys will fix anything and get the country moving in the opposite direction.

They just want to make minor course corrections. Obama’s driving this country into a wall and all our guys are doing is wondering what part of the wall looks the weakest.

Given the rest of the field, I was inclined to support Governor Perry in his attempt in the last cycle but abandoned him when he flamed out. Although it is not true that there is no second chance in American politics, Richard Nixon is a human example belying that false theory, in my view Governor Perry has committed a gaffe on television which can be played over and over and once again render him a laughingstock.

Worse, his vaunted record of economic achievement in Texas is unwinding as the price of oil is bankrupting one oil and gas extractor after another in that state. Perry rode the boom and now he must ride the unwinding.

As the country seems to be moving back in to the economic doldrums, or even perhaps entering a very serious economic set back as many of us have been predicting, Governor Perry will lack credibility to bring us the solution.

We are being given Rick Perry_version 2.0 to replace the Rick Perry_version 1.0 that we had four years ago. I admit....this version is slightly better, but I think it’s the same issue as Hillary....his time/opportunity has come and gone. He might make a decent senator and I wish he’d go for that instead....maybe move to Arizona and run against McCain.

Niggerhead please, Rick illuminati puppet Perry doesn't stand a chance.

Obviously a GOPe stalker for Cruz. Trying to split the Texas vote like he split Texas with the Mexican highway.

Those on the right have quite a crowd to select from. If you’re a loony left winger, you’re stuck with Hillary. That’s the only choice you have. LOL!

Real conservatives like former Representative Duncan Hunter support a border fence.

Pro-ILLEGAL alien liberals like La Raza Rick Perry opposes it.

Thank you South40...

You and I have discussed the Gov. before and you have pointed out his missteps before. This time with fantastic graphics.

Did he do good in TX? Yes. But these flubs are too much, he is not POTUS material IMHO.

Another waste of time, see my tagline...

Speaking of Duncan Hunter, John McCain should be due to go to San Diego for a new photo shoot in front of Hunter’s fence.

Personally, I believe Ted Cruz will suck in all the money from real conservative voters. He has our money.

The rest are really just sparing partners, so I don’t see them as a big concern. The more people speaking publicly about the benefits of conservative values, the better.
