I am no physicist, but getting hit by a projectile would tend to slow an abject down, no? Not speed it up by 100%+.

depending n the size of the projectile I would imagine

thus far I dont believe that theres been any mention of the possible size of this so called projectile

a bullet or a Brick would certainly not slow down a train traveling at that speed..a boulder sized rock might depending on the point of impact

simply saying a projectile...may have hit the train isnt really saying much of anything
