Election may set Britain on a path to becoming Little England
washingtonpost.com ^ | May 09, 2015 | Griff Witte and Dan Balz

After unexpected political charisma and cunning propelled him to another term as Britain’s prime minister, David Cameron will now need every ounce of those skills to avoid going down in history with an altogether different title: founding father of Little England.

A result that maintained the status quo at 10 Downing Street masked the dramatic transformations roiling Britain, ones that threaten to leave this country more isolated than at any time in its modern history.

Thursday’s election may become just the first in a trilogy of rapid-fire votes that set this island adrift from Europe, divide it in half along ancient lines of national identity and ultimately leave behind a rump state of ever-diminishing value to its American allies.

Because the only way England can succeed is to be locked into a union with bankrupt countries like Greece, Spain, and Italy. Got it.

Thanks for that friendly, helpful advice with absolutely no hidden motives, WashPost.

Well actually it is being locked into union with struggling countries like Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.

The result of this election has come as a great relief to the majority of the British people who now feel they are in the hands of common sense. No doubt that it will draw Britain closer to a European exit.

Obama considers UK an enemy. Just like he treats USA and so on. But anyway it’s good for the Brits to not get suckered into eu dictatorship Cooperate is one thing, cede effective sovereignty is another.

Some positives came out of the election.

The fully fledged openly admitted RINO party Liberal Democrat Party lost a huge number of seats.

A Conservative Party albeit a fake one, was appealing to voters.

It is going to be harder for CINO Boris Johnson to win a third consecutive conservative term.

Hopefully the SNP can break up and some factions will start questioning their open borders policy. Muzzies in, Brits Out.

"Well actually it is being locked into union with struggling countries like Scotland, Ireland, and Wales."

I wonder why there are all these struggling countries in Europe? Could it be socialism?

Here’s the state of politics in the UK: one Obama operative (Messina) was working with Cameron’s campaign. Another one (Axelrod) was working with Miliband’s.

More isolated than say, being the only country not conquered by a war lunatic during wwii.

This author is nuts... Voting for independence, does not compare with fighting for existence.

The WaCompost securing its reputation as a lapdog media outlet for globalists. Note that they never mention UKIP or that they came out third in total votes.

English nationalism is on the rise. Cameron and the tories are trying to get to the head of the parade. They’ll probably call a snap election on EU membership on the hopes that the nationalists won’t gather the momentum necessary for a YES vote on exit.

Our “Oh so transparent media” at it again. “Unless you are socialist to the core you are insignificant.” These loathsome people never quit.

Britain has thrived as a United Kingdom, not as a vassal state of the European Union.

What absolute twaddle!

The Brit voters had enough of the poisonous commie/socialist “solutions”. If anything, they came together in one magnificent heave-ho to get their lives back.

They retired Ed Balls, and actually it would be good in Dan Balz retired, too.
