I think we, as a country, have to do some soul searching about the rioting in Baltimore, President Barack Obama said Tuesday.
Bunk. We, as a country are not to blame.
First and foremost, blame resides with the thugs who looted stores, burned buildings and automobiles, and assaulted police officers and shopkeepers.
Next in order of culpability are the politicians whose belated and timid response allowed the thugs to run amok. The conduct of Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has been especially appalling.
When violence broke out April 25, city officials protected those who protested peacefully the death in police custody of drug dealer Freddie Gray, the mayor said, and we also gave those who wish to destroy space to do that as well.
I doubt that was what she meant to say, but when rioting broke out again Monday night, Ms. Rawlings-Blake ordered the police to stand down, a senior law enforcement source told Fox News.
Shopkeepers recounted how call after call to the police for help went unanswered.
How Mr. Gray suffered a severe spinal injury shortly after his arrest is not yet clear.
If police are responsible six officers have been charged it isnt likely racism was a motive. Baltimores police chief is black. So are 48 percent of Baltimore police officers.
Ms. Rawlings-Blake didnt ask Gov. Larry Hogan for help from the National Guard until 6 p.m. Monday three hours after hed urged her to ask for it. She announced a curfew that afternoon, but (bizarrely) delayed imposing it until Tuesday night.
Dozens of businesses were looted, 19 buildings including a senior center and a drug store were burned down, and 24 police officers and others were injured before the curfew was imposed. Much of that could have been prevented

Jack Kelly tells it like it is.
How about instead of “blaming” something on something else, we attribute faults, mistakes, and deliberate wrongdoings to the freaking people who execute them? Perhaps that would be the first step in allowing or causing those very people to stop blaming others and to actually take responsibility for the things they themselves create in their own lives?
This thing of blaming a phenomenon on some external force and never assuming responsibility for that which befalls a person is the whole story, isn’t it? What good does it do to blame somebody for something? There is no accountability. The liberal politicians who enacted the policies that apparently imprison the Baltimoreseans in their own little piece of utopia aren’t going to reverse themselves and change how they think. Most of them are out of office or dead. The money to fix this problem isn’t going to come out of their pensions nor their estates. They aren’t going to pay for it, no way, no how. So why join the navel-lint sniffers at Salon and The Atlantic conjuring up explanations that nobody will ever do anything about?
200 businesses were destroyed. Many were owned by blacks. This is a culture without self control.
A large part of the issue is the very liberals who are hand wringing now. They helped set up this little hell on earth through the way they despised (yes, despised) the black people of America.
And it is perfectly worth talking about because the same nefarious setup work is going on NOW.
LOL - Jack Kelly 'gets it'...
Democrats and union schools.
Very Good Post. Enjoyed your observations and agree wholeheartedly. We shouldn’t spend a dime of taxpayer dollars to rebuild that city. Those who destryoed it need to work and rebuild it themselves, but of course, they won’t.
when the CVS was seen burning on TV, she called the governor
This is the "Standard" Liberal answer to almost every problem in society.
Here in New Jersey, we have what is commonly referred to as "Abbot School Districts", where the State as poured BILLIONS of dollars into poor districts.
And while the result has had some effect at the Elementary Level Grades.
It has had ZERO effect at the High School Level.
Jack Kelly is spot on, but he should prepare for an IRS adit.
The bampster has no soul.
The schools are rotten because the ignorant, lazy, and many times violent students who attend those schools make them rotten.
As soon as conservatives quit lying and proffering "solutions" that are as worthless as lib "solutions," we'll all be a lot better off.
Amen brother.
Exactly. One reason for their failure in every first world nation that they’ve managed to gain power and/or majority in, is the lack of app 15 points of IQ in contrast to the white mean. Maybe they just weren’t meant to live in first world societies, they’re just not equipped. It took them no time to wreak havoc in South Africa after the west blackmailed that country into suicide. The self-righteous squawkers are nowhere to be found, now that South Africa is descending backwards in time, and the black power structure can’t/won’t offer their fellow blacks as much as the whites in power did under apartheid, such as health care and education.

Your right, there is no self control....they have this nitwit in the White House who doesn’t know what day it is, other than he has a golfing date....they are trying to follow his role model....
What nonsense are you talking about? This has nothing to do with IQ as it relates to race, but has everything to do with the condition of the human heart. With no restraints on us, we would lean the way of lawlessness too, some more so than others. To link race to IQ is utterly preposterous.
Because nobody dares to say what the real problem is, not even here on FR. You don’t see riots in other liberal cities, places like Vermont or in Austin or San Francisco.
Hmm, what could possibly be the difference?
Since His Smugness doesn’t practice personal responsibility, he can’t teach it to his would be sons. He is imminently qualified to teach the blame game. And he’s doing good it!
