Urgent Prayer Request for Johnny Random Freeper (Update at #237)

This may be a bad place or time, but I'll ask anyway. Tomorrow is a big deal for me.

I'm not quite back up to 110 pounds yet, but I'll go with what I've got.

Tomorrow (Friday) I have a follow up appointment with the MD that did my 15 radiation treatments.

Those treatments only treated my brain cancer, and did nothing for the other cancers we know I have.

If everything goes right tomorrow, I'll begin my HEME/ONC treatment for the lung cancers and other stuff that I have.

I've been made to understand that this is even rougher than the radiation treatments I received.

I need prayers on this. I would like to get treatment started on the lung and other cancers that I have that haven't been treated in the 4 months that we've known for sure that I had them.

Hard, I don't mind. Prayers, I would like.

Any thoughts my way tomorrow would be greatly appreciated. I don't expect to have a nice weekend, either way.

SisterK thanks for starting this thread for Johnny. Johnny, we will continue to pray. I hope you can get some local help at home. We all know you are one tough guy but remember when you ask for help you are really doing others a favor. You give them an opportunity to be charitable which is good for them. God bless you in the coming days and carry you through this.

please dear God, Help your humble servant and child weather this treatment. Give him strength to follow the path you have laid before him and the courage to always hold you as the beacon that we all guide our journey with.

have them put an infusion port in ASAP . that way you don’t get stuck so much. Call them for the nausea medication and keep bugging them till they call it in for you. It’s not narcotics and any doc can call it in for you.

Johnny, maybe a PICC line or a port would work better so that they’re not sticking your arm over and over again.

They should’ve had your anti-nausea meds ready for you. :-( But sometimes they don’t work very well, anyway. Hope you’re feeling well.

It's not frequent enough to justify a port.

I really don't mind getting stuck a couple of times a month if the person doing the sticking has a clue.

They don't get to practice on me. ;)

I'll stomp on the chief nurse's desk next time I'm up there, and she can stick me, instead of the clueless ones.
