9-year old boy expelled from school because he said he "didn't like Obama"

April 29, 2015

Freedom of speech breached? 9 year old boy expelled from his school for anti-Obama remark.

9 year old Jacob Wheeler attending Rosa Parks elemenary school in Los Angeles, California, was asked to leave the school and "never come back" after he made some comments that the teacher did not approve of during a history lesson. The lesson, which centered around US presidents since the 18th century along with the current political landscape, was derailed when young Jacob raised his hand and said he "didn't like Obama". His teacher responded by sending him to the principal's office, where he was then told that he would be expelled from the school for insensitive and racist remarks.

Wheeler comes from a conservative Christian family. His parents Sarah and Brad Wheeler are avid republicans, involved in local politics.

"We've always raised Jacob and his brothers to love America, freedom and the right to bear arms. Those liberties do not go so well in hand with Obama's policies, so we've made sure he knows what kind of man is running our country. We're happy Jacob stood up for what he believed in in class, but the fact that he was expelled for being a red blooded American sickens me."

We reached out to Rosa Parks elementary where principal Hugh Myrone Gaines answered our comments. "Jacob disrupted the lesson in a very disrespectful way and spoke ill of our great, revolutionary and tolerant president. We will not allow such ignorance and racism at our establishment and we don't regret excluding him one bit. There's a time and place for freedom of speech, but insulting our great African American president won't be tolerated".

is or is this not BS.
If it is true then there should be some serious consequences headed in the schools direction.
This kinda crap if true is over the limit

Has to be a spoof, there is no way that sane people would send their kid to a public school in L.A.

But this isn't satire. Real letter from 8yr old boy. I can't wait until he becomes president. Kinda cute and funny how he rips Owebama, and then asks at the end, "Is the White House comfortable?" photo Peters letter to White House 8yr old.png

The best satire has some believability. I had to think twice. Jeez.

SATIRE....FAKE.....FICTION.....COMIC BOOK..
My blood pressure was about to take the up elevator to the top floors. I kept thinking, “What is a kid like him doing in a school like that in the first place?!” then, to read the ‘principals snotty, racist remarks. Wow.
This story will get some milage anyway, because it depicts where we almost are anyway. This story is not THAT far off from the truth, and during this election cycle goofy things like this will become quite common.

Get young Jacob out of the government schools. Home school him or send him to a private school if at all possible.

Hey!

Is John Semmens the only person on Earth who has to put "Satire" in his post because it doesn't originate somewhere else? Crap from outside is okay, but homegrown is dangerous if not labeled properly?

I dunno, tc. Maybe it’s possibly real. Poorly sourced, but identical story is out there in the Washington Weekly, whatever that is.

He lives in LA

Yes, PLEASE no one take this story seriously. It is from a known satire site and is not true. (at least not yet, anyway!)

“I thought satire was supposed to be labeled ... “[SATIRE]” ... in the title line.”

And what fun is that?
