HILLARY: There's an 'undeniable' pattern in police-involved deaths across the US

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave the most substantive speech of her nascent presidential campaign so far on Wednesday.

In her address at Columbia University, Clinton called for a major overhaul in the US criminal justice system. She repeatedly lambasted "the mass incarceration that we currently practice" and overly punitive, "arbitrary" criminal statutes, which she said result in racial discrimination.

"There is something profoundly wrong when African-American men are still far more likely to be stopped and searched by police, charged with crimes, and sentenced to longer prison terms than are meted out to their white counterparts. There is something wrong when a third of all black men face the prospect of prison during their lifetimes," Clinton said. "We have allowed our criminal justice system to get out of balance and these recent tragedies should galvanize us to come together as a nation to find our balance again."

Real smart. It’s not like she doesn’t have that demographic completely locked up... unless some black Democrat comes out of the woodwork to oppose her.

But, flogging the different parts of the base to maximize turnout is probably the game here.

Same thing with the introduction of the rainbow “H” sign the other day. The Dems have already max-pandered to the LGBTQ-etc segment, but they keep whipping ‘em up.

Exactly. last campaign she had one suit ... in 50 different colors. Nothing different but the colors.

This year, different patterns but all of them huge tent styles.

Don’t ever use the words “Hillary” and “wet panties” in the same sentence.

In 2012 the Democrats claimed that the Republicans were waging a war on women. It was ludicrous but (with help from the media) it may have swayed enough votes from low-information voters to help Obama win the election.

Does Hillary think a Democrat war on the police will do the same to swing the 2016 election? Will another Ferguson or another Baltimore every few months between now and November 2016 help?
