America's Favorite Mom: Furious Mother Smacks Rioting Son Upside The Head (MUST SEE VIDEO!!)

A Baltimore mother is being hailed for doing her part to quell the violence after a video of her smacking her son upside the head when she spotted him rioting and throwing rocks at police emerged on Monday. The unidentified mom recognized her son even though he was wearing a black ski mask that covered much of his face. She spotted him on TV throwing rocks and went after him like a heat-seeking missile.

The encounter, which was captured by WMAR. didn't take long but it certainly looked painful for the regretful rioter. Blows rained down on the son's head as he struggled to get away while a large crowd looked on. He eventually was able to separate himself from his mother, but not before she had gotten the mask off of his face. As he walked away from the scene, his mother trailed after him while carrying a pink cellphone.

Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts also mentioned it when he spoke at a press conference shortly before midnight on Monday.

The video did not fly under the radar on social media either and many Twitter users began re-posting it and saying the woman was the 'Mom of the Year'. One woman wrote: 'That MOM in Baltimore that Smacked her kid for Looting, deserves MOM of the YEAR. Other MOMS should be doing the same!' Another woman said: 'Baltimore doesn't need the National Guard - they need more parents like this one!' Fox business reporter Charles V Payne chimed in: 'Mom of the year in Baltimore... my mother would have did same thing...' A man joked: 'Make sure it's ok with your parents before rioting.'

And while I’m assuming here - I wonder if the kid would have been out to riot in the first place if he had a father at home?

There’s a million reasons why Baltimore is in trouble. But the deliberate and planned assault on black families by LBJ and millions of other liberals as they removed the father from the home is a good place to start the list.

my experience driving the cab I saw fathers maybe ten or fifteen percent of the time. MARRIED fathers maybe 5.
But at least there's SOME hope since he didn't hit his mother.
My great guy of an uncle Ralph died young from lung cancer and my aunt millie was a BEAST with the wooden spoon. twenty five years later a lawyer, CEO, occupational therapist and head of Video conferencing at investment bank all while heading New York chapter for daughter who had deadly disease..thalassemia, still going at 37. All marry with kids.
Three boys and a daughter. The girl with thalasemmia married a GREAT Guy named Joe Weisenstein :) Boy did we Italians tease him for years lol. Daughter's communion is next month.
Got the invite in the mail with Joe's last name on it, and asked “is this a bat mitzvah? lol.
I think she's been introduced to both faiths. Good for her. He got so excited when he thought Ben Rothlisburger was Jewish. I never had the heart to tell him the truth :) When I got my brain injury, he was one of the first to show up, and he takes care of my sick niece like a prince. God bless him an thank you God for bringing him into her life.

Here’s why you know she’s a good mom, not just when those cameras were rolling...he doesn’t talk back or argue with her, which would have been typical of a lot of teenagers, black or white.
