Thanks for this article; can’t even imagine the terror involved, and happy these folks got out. Was “romantic” to read the couple depicted have been together since they were fifteen. :)
First let me say i am so thankful for the survivors and sorrowful over those who did not make it away. But when i read your post i laughed until i had tears. Then i reread it and laughed again. You have a way with words!
