In what is a pretty unbelievable admission, the Mayor of Baltimore Stephanie Rawlings-Blake admitted in a press conference that she gave instructions for police to protect protesters, including “those who wished to destroy,” and to give them some space.

Now keep in mind that Baltimore told people that they needed to stay in a ball park because they couldn’t control the protesters. SO they illegally detained law-abiding citizens in order to “give space” to those wanted to criminally destroy Baltimore. Welcome to ObamaLand, everybody! Coming to a neighborhood near you!

See, now that’s part of the problem. She’s cute as a button and probably smart as a tack, and yet she is advocating for lawlessness to be given room for expansion. It’s a mental disease, that liberalism.

Its a shame when people are looting and destroying and police do nothing, and you get illegally detained in a stadium, there isn’t a militia group you can call up that will march, several thousand strong armed with assault rifles, to restore order and the rights of law-abiding citizens.
Her brain is broken, and is beyond all repair. When is she up for re-election? Hopefully, the townsfolk have learned their lesson about this weak Mayor.

We do a lot of sailing and used to go to Baltimore at least every other summer and see the Oriels and eat in Little Italy. That ended a few years back when we were there for the 4th of July fireworks and a man was murdered at the restaurant we ate at (McCormick and Schmidt) after we left and a child was struck by a falling bullet at Pratt and Light Streets shot from some dumbass who thinks guns are the same as firecrackers. We were sitting on the boat watching the fireworks a couple blocks away. The wife said “no more.”

I avoid Baltimore when driving to see my son on the other side. Starting to use the Key Bridge so I don’t even have to go on I-95 through Baltimore.
I remember that slogan “Baltimore, the city that reads”. My version is “Baltimore, the city that bleeds”.

I can see the Baltimore PD insurance claims on the patrol car damages being returned, “Claim denied, contributory negligence”. BTW, your policies have all been cancelled forthwith.
I imagine that all liablity insurers are reviewing the terms of those policies.
Good job, Baltimore. You elected a mayor that refuses to protect and defend the lives and property of its citizens.
I think the city maybe self insured.
