Most of the GOP compromises we have been seeing proposed would have these folks as nonvoting permanent residents, but they are still warm bodies that can be rounded up for fraud and afterward they won’t know nuffin.

Once you give them SSNs, ability to receive government benefits, legitimacy - essentially all the rights citizens have with the exception of voting, it is a trivial jump to massive class action lawsuits by every conglomerated liberal group to sue for “equal rights and protection under the Constitution”. This means a Supreme Court case where they WILL be granted the right to vote.
Game over. And it will happen if they are allowed any part of “legal.” Write it down, I said it here this day.
