TED CRUZ RIPS HILLARY, PRAISES DIVERSITY OF GOP FIELD IN NEW HAMPSHIRE

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz ripped into the Obama administration and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Saturday, drawing applause for his red-meat remarks.

“I could have sworn I had seen Hillary’s Scooby Doo van outside, but then I realized it couldn’t possibly be that,” Cruz joked. “Because I’m pretty sure y’all don’t have any foreign nations paying speakers, right?”

Cruz mocked Democrats’ shallow presidential bench while praising the diverse Republican field.

“Has this not been an incredible array of strong, conservative leaders for two solid days? What testament for the desire of Americans — we want something new. We want new leadership to change the page and turn around.

“The Democratic version of this, I’m pretty sure, is Hillary Clinton having a conversation with a Chipotle clerk,” he said.

He’s doing it right...and I suspect things will be getting more “direct” against the opposition as it goes.

I’ll bet my bottom dollar, behind the scenes the establishment is going to come crawling and bawling to Rush Limbaugh begging him (or maybe ordering him) to do whatever he can to stop Cruz.

I am liking Cruz more and more. Walker is still my man, for now, but I'm not committing to anyone just yet.

But, damn, what a treat to actually have options.

Fresh faces. Young. Energetic. Fearless.

I may cry.

The age difference between the presidential, and potential presidential, candidates in the two major political parties is quite pronounced.

I have, because I don't want the establishment or the media picking the primary candidate. It is time to commit. I know who I stand for. As for me and my house, my time and money go to Cruz.

Cruz or lose!

Would be happier if Jeb Bush and Chris Christie chose NOT to enter the race. The last several elections we had RINOs picking conservatives as VEEP options to appease the Conservatives. Damn it, it’s about time WE CONSERVATIVES were on the top spot and chose to pick a RINO to APPEASE the GOP elitist - yea, I could live with Chris Christie as a VEEP - actually it might be enjoyable to watch him Preside over the senate! Those might be interesting senate hearings to put on C-SPAN!

Please give me a milquetoast statement from Jeb Bush! I can't take this bitter, divisive extremism!

Taking it to 'em. What's not to love?

I'm mainly parroting the talking heads, but the wave Republican elections have "decimated the Democratic bench." There just aren't any rising charismatic stars of the democratic party. They were all defeated in state senate races and such.

Think about it. All these idiotic college girls are having to swoon over a 70 year old woman with fat ankles and tired outdated ideas.

While I certainly don't prefer all the ideas they represent... as a group, Walker, Cruz, Rubio, Paul... even second stringers like Martinez, Haslam, MdDaniel... they are young and fresh, and present a range of ideas.

It is really time for the old guard GOP to exit the stage. I'm a geezer myself, so you can't accuse me of being ageist. LOL

If you have a favorite, I would suggest you commit by sending campaign donations. To do otherwise is to merely pay lip service to the fact that you hope someone decent ends up on the ballot.

I'm donating to Cruz and if something destroys his chances, will donate to Walker. If you ain't donating or volunteering, you aren't backing anyone.
