Marco Rubio in Spanish: Obama’s First Executive Amnesty ‘Important,’ People ‘Benefiting from It’

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), a 2016 GOP presidential candidate, said he believes that President Barack Obama’s first executive amnesty for so-called DREAMers—the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)—is “important” and he won’t reverse it himself if elected president. He delivered these remarks in a Spanish-language interview he gave to Univision’s Jorge Ramos.

“I believe DACA is important. It can’t be terminated from one moment to the next, because there are already people benefiting from it,” Rubio said in Spanish on Ramos’s television program, according to an English translation provided by the media service Grabien. “But yes, it is going to have to end. It can’t be the permanent policy of the United States, and I don’t think that’s what they’re asking either. I think everyone prefers immigration reform.”

Ramos followed up, according to the translation, by asking: “But then, to clarify, you would put an end to DACA once immigration reform is approved, but what would happen, Senator, if there is no immigration reform; would you cancel DACA anyway?”

Rubio answered that DACA will end only when a legislative substitute with the exact same or similar policy prescriptions—a legislative amnesty for illegal alien minors—is implemented. He also said in Spanish that, if elected president, he believes that America cannot deport illegal aliens here in the country right now, and he expects a legislative solution will be implemented that essentially has all the parts of the massively controversial “Gang of Eight” bill that he would pass piece-by-piece.

Mark needs to rethink that. He once said similar things about Lyin’ Ryan. He later took it back. Hopefully, he’ll do the same about Marky Mark.

.
In 2016 you’re going to have to either not vote, or vote for the GOP candidate.

One candidate is a well educated and clear headed constitutionalist, and only that candidate can possibly have the solution up his sleeve.

“These men are not stupid. Are they all suborned? Do they all think or know that there is a place for them in the Permanent Socialist/Democrat State?”

They don’t think, they know. We have a one party system and their role is to play the faux opposition. Ultimately the agendas are the same. There are a few candidates who attempt to buck it. Precious few.

Deportation isn’t happening in the current political environment. A relatively small portion of the population has the stomach for it and none of the politicians do.

Half the businesses on Staten Island wouldn't know what to do if they were deported. Too bad theyre illegal. I know of six guys who washed dishes/busboys for 30000 a year, a million hours a week lol. They're now looking to buy a house cash for 500k five years later.
Admirable, but Its just NOT fair to the people who want to come here legally, nor is it fair to those who get raped/killed by the bad illegals. .

“However, when it comes to the big dance assuming Rubio is the nominee, who would withhold a vote for Rubio giving it by abstention to the liberal?”

I would and would do so without a second thought. There is zero practical difference between the vast bulk of the D’s amd R’s running. They’re uniparty pukes and are in active collaboration. The rhetoric is just that, rhetoric. Have you noticed how the rhetoric has become more shrill over the past several years while the actual results are more indistinguishable?

Climate has changed on people’s attitude on deportation. The candidate should use up all the journalist’s time speaking about the RULE of LAW...elaborate it as the way promises are kept to the immigrant community. Then exit.
the discussion.

“There are even people on this website, as well as Evangelical Christians, who don’t even care enough to vote every four years. “

I’m one of those people. I would charaterize it differently. There are conservatives and Christians who care enough NOT to vote when the choice presented is a false one. A socialist with an R after their name is still a socialist. I’d far rather withhold my vote than give their election a veneer of legitimacy and consent.

Thanks, I was thinking of Tuva, made famous by Richard Feynman. They do something called “throat singing”. Now if Rubio learned that language, he could spout all he wants about Amnesty, and no one would have a clue.

You know its funny. Democrats and especially liberal ones (is there any other kind?) love to call conservatives ignorant and stupid.
I have an IQ of 140 and I cant count the number of times that I have no idea what people are talking about here and even after researching I’m still lost sometimes.
The varied and interesting and unique careers I have read about here fascinate me.
How wrong they are.

Rubio and Ramos share more DNA with my Celto Anglo Saxon Scots Irish ass than either do with average Geronimo looking Mexican or Honduran

>> Cruz is still for legalizing “those already here.” <<
"No, you have him confused…"

Negative. He offered amendments to the Gang of 8 bill, one of which denied citizenship, not "legal status". He has clearly stated he's for an enforcement first trigger -Ironically, Rubio's insistence of the same is largely credited for scuttling the bill- prior to addressing other reforms.

So Rubio, and Jeb are all definitely out.

Cruz or Walker, please pick up the phone. The tree of Liberty is waiting on line 665.

Will Cruz or Walker fold? Doubt it. Legal latinos loathe wetbacks.
