Homeschooled children are already required to be registered with the local school district in the state where we did it, 15 years ago. I can’t imagine it’s not required everywhere, but perhaps it is so.

No longer 'home' schooling - but totally controlled by gov't.

State and Federal gov't have long considered children as belonging the them - and the parents only allowed as "caregivers" to house and feed them. All other decisions are made by the gov't.

Which is why an ever increasing number of Detroit parents send their kids to one of the 60+ charter schools in Detroit with security being one of the reasons.
