MILWAUKEE A new Marquette University Law School poll finds Hillary Clinton leading a possible presidential matchup against Gov. Scott Walker.
However, Walker leads Republicans in the presidential race. Forty percent support a Walker run while 10 percent favor Rand Paul, 8 percent for Jeb Bush, and 6 percent each for Chris Christie and Ted Cruz.
The poll finds that among Wisconsin voters, Clinton leads Walker 52 percent to 40 percent.
The poll also showed that Walker's approval rating in the state has slipped. The most recent poll showed a 41 percent approval rating, compared to 49 percent in October.
Looking at a possible 2016 Senate race, former Sen. Russ Feingold leads Sen. Ron Johnson 54 percent to 38 percent.
The poll interviewed 803 registered voters between April 7-10.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and his potential opponents in the upcoming recall election are locked in a dead heat, according to a new poll out Tuesday.
Walker looks set to have very close races with whoever ends up as his Democratic opponent, although voters are split 49 percent to 49 percent on whether they support recalling the governor before his term is up,
Final result -- Walker won 54% to 45%.
For races like Gov when there is no Presidential election then there is more of an informed voter who comes out.
When there is a Presidential election then every frigging idiot in the country plus illegals come out to vote.
Polls are not completely accurate. Perhaps they are in the ballpark.
The consensus (RCP) for the Nov 2014 election of Walker just before the election: Walker 47.50% Burke 45.3% real close nail biter. One poll (Rasmussen) had Burke ahead!
Actual results Walker 52.3% Burke 46.6% a 5.7% win
IIRC, Scott Walker trailed in all three of his elections by 5-7 points according to the polls ... yet won all three by 5-7 points. Go figure.
The election is how far off?
I would not trust any political poll put out by a Jesuit university.
If Marquette polls were accurate, I don’t think Walker would have ever been Governor.
While I could believe Clinton and Feingold leading, those margins are implausible, as is the 41% approval rating.
The Daily Worker poll
People of the interests mentioned in the quotes and links in my last comment would rather have a Republican candidate who makes radical promises that he won’t follow through on while making more serious backstage promises to continue the cash flow to their big government interests.
In other words, Walker’s Republican opponents have the usual plan: to continue big spending for those who promise much monetary and vote support: many kinds of government employees, administrators, politicians, contractors and other government-linked businesses. But many of those same constituents posing as conservatives in political discussions and surveys may well vote for the Democrat in the end.
New FR poll finds FR members think MU pollers are on crack.
100% of those polled agreed that not only are MU pollers on crack, but they are batcrap crazy to boot.

Marquette Law School poll - it figures. Don’t pay much attention to it.
Another worthless registered voter poll with leftist oversampling.
Foolsgold v. Johnson is the Senate race to watch this time around.
We need to make sure Freepers outside of Wisconsin pay attention to that one and help where they can!
Feingold is awful. Just awful. 100% Commie Doper, who pretends to be a moderate. Blech!
is this the same outfit that had him losing the gov race
Walker is Governor. That means there are more Republicans than Rats.
The numbers need to be switched.
2012 Texas Presidential Results
M. Romney GOP 57.2% 4,555,799
2012 Texas Senate Results
Winner T. Cruz GOP 56.6% 4,456,599
And folks are worried about Walker in Wisconsin?
Feingold is totally useless....the reason that Wisconsin polls that way is that the majority of people in Milwaukee and Madison are enough to tip the scales.....now investigate Milwaukee, for example, and you will find a HUGE number of gibmedats, Obama future sons, and a declining group who would vote for virtually anything democrat....PATHETIC
