“Invalid hysteria doesn’t change facts.”

Okay, let’s look at some facts: 1941, Japan attacked us in teh Pacific and occupied some American territory and the Nazis declared war on us as well. Did we ally ourselves with filthy, genocidal communists in the Soviet Union to fight them?

Was that “invalid hysteria” or “facts”?

“If it weren’t for the coup,”

The Ukrainian parliament says it isn’t a coup. That’s a fact. You’re relying on “invalid hysteria”. The Ukrainian Parliament voted Yanukovich out.

“we wouldn’t be talking about ANY of this, and there would still be a Ukrainian flag flying over Crimea.”

Russia would just run all of Ukraine through Yanukovich instead. Ukraine has a right to be free or Russian control. Also, NOTHING in Kiev warranted a Russian occupation - ENTIRELY ILLEGAL AND AGAINST INTERNATIONAL LAW - of Crimea.

You’re excusing the Russians as if they did nothing wrong. You’re no better than those who excused every action of the USSR.

You can call Putin a thug if you want to (I wouldn’t), but he’s succeeding in everything he’s doing so far and, like a number of leaders of other states at present, is clearly top talent. WE are the only formerly advanced nation with a “community organizer(TM)” for a political leader...

I wouldn't call the people running Kiev "Nazis" at this point, that would be an insult to Nazis. More like the Crips or the Bloods or something like that...

Doesn't it give you a warm fuzzy feeling all over to be providing people like that with advanced weapons??

Pretty clear now that Kiev has no intention of honoring the latest Minsk Agreement, and that the fighting will erupt again, very soon.

The Kiev assault with at least two battalions around Donetsk airport over the last couple of days adds even more fuel to the fires.

Seriously? Ukraine bans the communist party and the Simon Wiesenthal Center protests.

“The passage of a ban on Nazism and Communism equates the most genocidal regime in human history with the regime which liberated Auschwitz and helped end the reign of terror of the Third Reich,” said Wiesenthal Center director for Eastern European Affairs Dr. Efraim Zuroff.
