Neither do professional baseball players expect ignorance of "their game" to be a punishable offense.

This person has it backwards. People of Color, lesbians etc. etc. are expected to meet and adhere to societal norms of the majority population not to go off and create their own expecting the rest of society to honor their “individuality”. That is why among other reasons I don’t paint myself blue and run around cutting off heads like my Celtic ancestors (although with idiots like these it can seem like a good idea) .

The analogy works because if the umpires keep changing their zones, and the rules committee is too arrogant to issue guidelines, the so-called unknowing person won’t ever play or watch the game.

I didn’t see it the first time, and I’m not going to read more than the first sentence the second time. The first sentence starts off with one of those liberal assertions that you can tell makes sense to a liberal but actually is bald-faced stupid beyond words.

What Kali Holloway needs to understand is Republicans freed the slaves, fought Jim Crow and passes the epic Civil Rights legislation.
Democrats were the KKK in the South, they ran the White Citizens Councils and modern Democrats elected a KKK member to run the Senate - Robert Byrd.
Martin Luther King Jr was a Republican.
Bull Conner was a democrat.
George Wallace was a democrat.
Hollings was a Democrat.
The ONLY democrat politician that ‘switched’ to Republican was Lester Maddox.
The only thing I would like to ‘learn’ from Kali Holloway is why black people vote Democrat - considering the history of blacks and dems... AND why they stay with democrat considering how little progress has been made in the last 40 years.
