A glittering line-up of Hollywood stars is poised to back Hillary Clinton's bid to become US President by raising millions for her campaign.

The former Secretary of State and wife of ex-President Bill Clinton is expected to announce her 2016 candidacy today in a video released on social media.

And political pundits say plans are already in place to hold fundraising parties as early as next month.

Mrs Clinton's most high-profile Hollywood backers include director Steven Spielberg, and actors George Clooney, Barbra Streisand and Tom Hanks.

DreamWorks studio boss Jeffrey Katzenberg has said: 'Hillary is the best qualified candidate. She will be America's first female President.'

Reports in the US said Mrs Clinton, 67, is aiming to raise £1.7 billion – double the amount spent by Barack Obama on his re-election campaign in 2012.

The first official word that she will seek the Democratic Party's nomination is expected to come via an online video posted on social media.........

I never have liked Hanks or his movies. Big was mildly entertaining but since then no. I may be the only person in the country who has not watched Forest Gump.

I confess the only movie of his I actually liked was A League of Their Own.

No sector of America (except for advertising) understands the use of propaganda in gaining power, political clout, and wealth while pretending to be benevolent for the masses, better than Hollywood.

If they were able to have our Congress make laws where copyright piracy and infringement are criminalized where the taxpayers are put on the hook to prosecute to protect their $10 dvds and mostly worthless propaganda, they will grab your guns and push self serving agendas like TPP. Copyright was always civil law where the plaintiffs paid and sued.

I haven’t seen “Saving Private Ryan,” either. I only watch movies I think I’ll enjoy.

You aren’t alone, my hubby doesn’t care for him. He never watched Forrest Gump.

In spite of that. He did like The Road to Perdition and the WWII movie Hanks made.

Dear Hollywood:

You are supporting a woman who helped overthrow a foreign government and then had the leader of that government murdered. She then laughed about it.

I realize that you are very busy passing air over your vocal cords and pretending to be someone else, but try to stay up with reality.

Sincerely,

But do tell us again how the Republicans are the party of the rich.

Clinton Supporter Net Worth*
Steven Spielberg $3.5 Billion
George Clooney $180 Million
Barbra Streisand $340 Million
Tom Hanks $350 Million
Jeffrey Katzenberg $860 Million

Four more people on my PERMANENT boycott list.

Hillary has more baggage than a Carnival Cruise Line ship full of passengers.

Too many scandals....arrogance about everything, including the 900 FBI files.

There is no other person I can think of who is more inappropriate for the office of the President of the USA-—even worse than Barack Obama.

In a country of over 330 million, what a statement that the Democrat party cannot find anyone with some new ideas & without OLD, WRINKLY baggage.

Before voting, I always contact Spielberg, Clooney, Streisand and Hanks to ask how I should vote. Also a Ouija Board to make sure.

Old baggage. If you ever get to meet Hanks, ask him about that TV series he did with the other guy where the dressed and lived as women in NY so they could stay at a YWCA like hotel.

Classic cinematographic excellence he never discusses. First class opportunistic putz.

They are not satisfied with their acting name power or their wealth. They want the power that comes with connections. IMMHO.
