DENVER - Colorado's legal battles between religious freedom and gay rights continue to play out in the not-so-sweet arena of bakery cake requests.
Last week, the Colorado Civil Rights Division ruled that Denver's Azucar Bakery did not discriminate against William Jack, a Christian from Castle Rock, by refusing to make two cakes with anti-gay messages and imagery that he requested last year.

No Shirt , No Shoes , Gay , No Service
At least its a win for us, for now.
The right to refuse
The most basic right of all, perhaps.
its also a precedent, and they count
Not sure.
They refused an “anti” something. Our side lost refusing a “pro” something.
Libtard courts may make a distinction.
If the muzzies refused to make a pro-gay cake and lost, I’d say it was a win.
At least its a win for us, for now.

Actually, it simply shows the hypocrisy of the Colorado authorities...discrimination is only a one-way street based upon this ruling and the earlier ruling that a Christian bakery cannot refuse to support a same sex marriage ceremony.
That’s discrimination (choice) one way. Now let’s see a decision in the case of a Christian bakery refusing to make a cake for gays. Thus far, this hasn’t seemed a two way street.
A win for refusing to make an Anti Gay cake? Sounds like the same people won if you ask me.
Actually, she discriminated by refusing to accept a request made by a Christian.
Wonder how big the fine will be.
He asked that the cake be decorated with the biblical verses, “God hates sin. Psalm 45:7” and “Homosexuality is a detestable sin. Leviticus 18:2”, according to the Civil Rights Divisions’ decision.
The bakery refused. Due to their beliefs.
Wait, what? Oh, I thought we were talking about the “other” bakery standing up for their beliefs too, right?
Ohhhh, but because this was about HATE and the other message about LOVE, they can make a distinction (I say this sardonically, but that’s probably what is going on in their heads).
A better test case would be a cake that says “Hetero: the only way to go.”
You’re right.
It’s a gross injustice. What about Equal Protection Under the Law?
They told the Christians they couldn’t refuse to put something repugnant to them on the cake.
But the pro-homos CAN refuse, and therefore discriminate?
Sounds like this should go to an appelate court.
Stupid gay dopers.
At least its a win for us, for now.

Hence the words, ‘for now’.
Oops, sorry, thought it was a bakery under attack by refusing to make cakes for gays and won the right to refuse to make cakes for them, my bad... Sorry.
My lesson, read full article and headline carefully before commenting.
Who do you mean by “us?” They ruled that The Holy Bible is hateful, offensive, derogatory and bigoted. That’s not a win for Christians.
But of cuss, “gay” philosophy of today is NONE of those awful things, hokay...
Sure, it sounds like that. But it's a precedent about acting on one's beliefs in a service business. Depending on the wording and the circumstances of some new case, it might turn out to be useful against the totalitarians. The hazard of being a lawless judge is when the Law of Unintended Consequences bites you in the rear end.
The point is that the court allowed the bakery to dicriminate based on their religious view. If the court is consistent, ( a giant if) then they will have to allow Christians to discriminate against someone wanting a homosexual wedding cake.
