Turkey, via their Deputy Prime Minister, is putting the word out on the street that it is open to a restoration of ties with Israel, even acknowledging that it is NOT Turkeys place to criticize the recent Israeli election:

Wow. The admitted refusal to criticize Israel over the election is definitely a change of pace for Turkey. I mean, when has Erdogan ever missed an opportunity to openly bash Israel? He was just ripping Netanyahu in January for just showing up to the Paris march against radical Islam, accusing him of killing 2500 Palestinians in the war last year.
But now all of a sudden Erdogan is quiet, especially after Netanyahus Arab busing comment?
This silence has caught the attention of a writer at Al-Monitor, who writes this:

I assure you this silence isnt a coincidence. I think Erdogan knows that Netanyahu isnt going anywhere for a while and if he wants to create an environment in which they can make a future covenant with Israel, then they need to start making friends fast.

“Turkey hates Obama?”
Frankly I doubt that any foreign leaders really like Obama.
“The Turks know they are going to need Israels intelligence support - if not other support - if they go to war against Iran.”
I think this is an area re-alignment against Obama and Iran.
Turkey goes a couple of days without electricity and a week later Erdogan does a 180 on his foreign policy towards Israel. Well, call me paranoid...
Elections have consequences. ;’) Iran’s been green-lighted by Zero, Lurch, Plugs, et al, to complete its long effort to build nuclear weapons. Iran has overthrown the gov’t of Yemen. Iran’s in combat via troops or proxies (or both) in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and now Turkey itself:

Unlike the President and SOS of the United States.
Most likely explanation: Erdogan is scared s@#$less at what he sees going on in Syria, and everyone involved. He doesn’t like Israel, but we aren’t scaring him like Syria is.
the underlying sources are a bit older and legit:
Is Erdogan changing his tune on Israel?

Soon after Salman took the throne in Saudi Arabia, he had Erdogan and al Sisi come for a meeting. They are ramping up for a major conflict against the Shi’ite axis led by Iran.
If the US won’t stop Iran’s nuclear program, Israel is the only other realistic option (Russia could do it covertly, but only for an astronomical price).
