If you listen to liberals, you’d believe that conservatives are hateful, racist, cruel, selfish dishonest, mean-spirited Fascists while liberals are compassionate, caring, open minded, honest, giving saints who want the best for everyone.
If that’s true, then why is it that liberals have to incessantly lie about what they’re doing, what’s happening in the world and about conservatives?
For example, take this latest flap about Indiana passing a religious freedom law that prevents Christians from getting run out of business if they refuse to participate in gay weddings. The law should be unnecessary given that the First Amendment already, “prohibits the making of any law…impeding the free exercise of religion,” but getting beyond that, there are similar laws in 20 states. Even Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have signed onto similar laws. Yet, you have liberals claiming that discrimination against gays will be rampant & even that black Americans will be turned away from stores for religious reasons because the law. Of course, that’s not happening in any of the states with similar laws and it won’t happen in Indiana either.
If liberals are the good guys, then why do they have to lie about what the law does?
Remember when the Trayvon Martin shooting hit the news? Most people thought a 12 year old kid was attacked by adult who had uttered racial slurs about him and then shot him to death for no good reason. Whatever you may think of the case, there was a court case and we found out that wasn’t what happened. Trayvon Martin was a 17 year old football player, Zimmerman didn’t make any racist reference to him, Martin attacked Zimmerman and was physically beating him when he was shot.
If liberals are the good guys, why do they lie about cases like this one?
You could ask the same question about the Mike Brown shooting. At first we heard that Mike Brown was just an innocent kid who was attacked by officer and then shot to death while he had his hands up and was pleading with the officer not to shoot. Conservatives would have wanted the officer to go to jail if that had been true. We said as much on the Right Wing News Facebook page.
Yet, what did we find out? Mike Brown had just robbed a convenience store, the officer thought he was a suspect, Brown attacked the officer and tried to take his weapon, then was shot running at the cop while ignoring his orders to stop
If liberals are the good guys, why did they lie about this case? There were businesses burned to the ground, the town of Ferguson, Missouri has been economically decimated and police officers have been KILLED because the tensions created by this case. If liberals are the good guys, why haven’t they apologized for the lies that were told? Why haven’t they taken any responsibility for the lives they destroyed?
How about “rape culture?” We hear about that incessantly and the statistic that’s quoted over and over and over again is 1 in 5 college women are sexually assaulted. Even Barack Obama & Joe Biden have used this statistic. There’s one problem: That statistic comes from a Campus Sexual Assault Study that has been proven wrong. Although there is a hot debate about what the real numbers are, most people agree they’re probably much closer to a still too high 1-in-50.
If liberals are the good guys, why do they have to lie about this? Rape is as universally condemned as anything can be in the United States, so why not work with everyone else to fight it instead of lying about it?
Then there’s Obamacare.
No piece of legislation in modern history has been sold with so many willful lies about what it would do. Obama told people they could keep their doctors, keep their health care plans and that Obamacare would save the average family $2500 a year.
None of that turned out to be true.
If liberals are the good guys, why did they have to lie to the American people about Obamacare? If liberals are good people, why aren’t they apologizing for the lies they told?
Of course, we could go on and on with these examples because this has become the standard modus operandi of liberalism.
1) Lie about your opponents. Lie about what happened. Lie about what you want to do.
2) Deny that you lied. Smear your enemies for accusing you of lying. Count on your fellow liberals to the mainstream media to turn a blind eye.
3) When you get caught lying, shrug your shoulders and say, “So what?”
If you’re a liar, maybe you’re actually not such a great person. If you feel like you need to lie in order to get people to adopt your ideas, maybe they’re not such great ideas. If you have to lie about your “evil” enemies to get people to dislike them, then maybe YOU’RE THE ONE WHO’S THE BAD GUY.
simple.... the end always provides justification for the means
Complete and utter lack of ethics. They know they’re lying but don’t care because getting their way is the only thing that’s important to them.

To convince people to accept something that is not based on truth and reality requires propogandizing, which is inherently built upon lies.

Liberalism is a font of ideas that simply do not work. Thats putting it mildly. If anything, liberal ideas make things worse. So how does one prop up ideas that are broken and do not work? Simple: they lie. One certainly cannot prop up broken ideas with the truth. So its, lie, lie, and lie some more. The communists did it that way. The nazis did it that way. And the liberals do it that way.
You only have to see how rabid in their lying they are over this IN law and the sad part is that there are millions who are too lazy to find out the truth.

National Socialists aren’t the good guys. The lie is the weapon used most often by the criminal, socialist, totalitarian scumbags and their propagandists. Their useful idiots parrot that lie. Witness history. Witness current events.
Anything to further the narrative. That includes lying, twisting and out-and-out making up of stories which fit the narrative.
Liberals are at war with reality.
There’s one Woody Allen movie in which his character says “It’s too bad I wasn’t present at the creation, because I could have given God some useful suggestions.” That’s a humorous way of summing up the liberal view of things.
Less intellectual liberals believe what the professor or other "intellectual" liberal says because he says it and for no other reason.
Reality is a mental construct. Liberals imagine a reality and therefore it is true. Their logic here is only partial, however, because the logical deduction would be that there is no need for politicking or strife because a liberal only has to imagine Utopia and it Is.
I had this discussion 20 years ago with a childhood friend who was by then a professor at UF and very intellectual about this. We never resolved that question why, if reality is a mental construct he could not just imagine Utopia and all would be unicorns and flowers. Why could he not just think me away or into his Utopia? He just concluded that I am weak of mind and unable to think logically. Before he went to college he understood economics and had even read Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt. In college he began to understand this new reality that was necessary for his academic career. His intellectual Leftism grew to fit him into his milieu. I would not be so concerned were it merely cynical adoption of a mindset necessary to an academic career but he is a True Believer now.
Like I said they can’t help it. Lying comes natural to them
They work very well at transferring power to a small, pseudo-intellectual elite. That power is so delicious to hold and wield that those in line to get some will tell any lie they must to achieve that goal.

It comes from the outgrowth of Romanticism in the early 1800s, that, among other things, feelings are more important than facts: that facts are cold, but feelings lead to truth.
The bandied-about term today is "narrative": it's not what is that matters, it's what you say it is that matters. And that is especially true if "you" are from an oppressed group, and yearn for freedom--ostensibly freedom from oppression, but in practice it becomes a yearning for freedom from facts.
Liberals lie because they are the only ones who really understand, and the rest of us are like unruly children.
What parent hasn't told a little white lie in order for the children to accept what is really, after all, the best for them?
The children don't understand - they aren't equipped nor mature enough to make those kinds of decisions, so the Libs must lie in order to do what's best for everyone.

That, but there’s also very much an “ends justify the means” element to this.
Polls show majority support for same sex marriage. Those polls, however, also show majority support for respecting the rights of people to decline to provide services for same sex weddings based on religious belief.
The Indiana law IS different from the other state statutes in that it provides a legal avenue for business owners to claim religious beliefs as grounds for denying services in private-party lawsuits.
That explains a lot of the uproar over this law. Progressives don’t want business owners to be able to use a religious protection defense in private party lawsuits. They want business owners to be gagged, to be denied the ability to make their case in courts of law, because doing so would serve to highlight that there are people who object to participation in things like same sex weddings on religious grounds.
It’s really about shouting down, stiffling and suppressing dissent. Even the appearance of dissent. Because dissent, especially state-tolerated public legal dissent, poses a threat to the larger agenda.
