Chick-Fil-A Opens Slew of New Stores Nationwide
Despite the occasional negative press, Chick-Fil-As franchises are thriving throughout the United States. Shortly after the arrival of spring, new Chick-Fil-A restaurants are cropping up in states like Florida and Pennsylvania, signaling that the chain responsible for Eat More Chicken ads continues to outperform competitors, such as KFC and Churchs.
As reported by the Palm Beach Post, Chick-Fil-As newest restaurant held a grand opening in Delray Beach, Florida on March 26 to hundreds of people anxiously awaiting its debut. For more than 24 hours, customers camped outside the new restaurant hoping to be one of the first 100 people to enter the building. Not so much motivated by a love for chicken as by the promise of free Chick-Fil-A for a year, campers began gathering days before to secure their spot.
A tradition rooted in a love for community, giving away free food at grand openings is part of why Chick-Fil-A stands out from other fast food brands. Instead of devising ways to earn money, the companys management is committed to serving others and it shows in their work. In 2013, the chain earned nearly $5 billion in U.S. sales.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Chick-Fil-A has an established corporate culture that combines quality and passion. Thus far, the companys chicken has earned numerous awards, including the top spot for Best Chicken Sandwich in a 2014 Consumer Report review. According to Forbes, the passing of company founder S. Truett Cathy last year is unlikely to impact the restaurants outlook.
In addition to the new Delray Beach location, Chick-Fil-A is opening new restaurants throughout March and April in the Northeast and Midwest regions of the country. According to Inquisitrs review of the company, Chick-Fil-A continues to earn new business by competitively developing and marketing new products. Frosted Lemonade, one of the newest additions to the chains menu, arrived just in time for summer and features a refreshing blend of ice cream and lemonade.
While delighting customers with delicious food is always a priority for Chick Fil A, the chicken chain promotes healthy lifestyle habits and encourages disease prevention. To participate in the American Diabetes Associations National Alert Day, Chick Fil A motivated customers to take an online diabetes risk assessment in exchange for a free grilled chicken sandwich or order of nuggets, the Times of San Diego reported
I remember the brouhaha here in Chicago when they opened a new store some time back, and not a peep when they opened another one more recently.
Ours is in the middle of Hollywood and was the epicenter of the homofag controversy. Everyday the drive thru is packed and customers dont care. Funny part was that the libtards were caught protesting on Sunday and didn’t have a clue the resto is intentionally closed on Sundays.
Chick-Fil-A serves quality food at a reasonable price in a clean environment. And not having to sit next to a gaggle of gays or a load of lesbians is a benefit. If the GBLT crowd wanted to damage Chick-Fil-A, they would patronize the place.
The company’s greatest asset to this infrequent customer (there simply aren’t very many locations up here in the Northeast) is that its employees are very polite and friendly. That’s a refreshing departure from what you typically find in fast-food joints.
Maybe they could offer a job to Adam Smith, that guy who yelled at a Chick-Fil-A who is now supposedly homeless.
I was driving in an unfamiliar area a few years ago, and the only place I could find to get a quick lunch was a KFC. So, I ordered one, and it was really awful. I thought I was going to throw up. Maybe just bad luck, but I’m not going back to KFC again.
Once got bloody chicken from KFC
Haven’t touched a KFC in at least five years because a similar experience, so I hear you on that one.
Tried Chick-Fil-A for the first time yesterday at a new store in CT. The place was packed, the drive thru jammed and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. I’d recommend it if you have to have fast food...
True, Chikfila is the only restuarant i’ve been too where the employees are consistently friendly and courteous and the facilities are clean. This is because they hire mostly Christians, often recruiting teens from local churches. On the flip side, the worst restaurants I’ve been to had tattooed, blue haired liberal freaks working in them. Often with masters degrees in pottery or beatnik poetry and complaining about how they are so much better than the crap hole they are working in. As far as I am concerned, the liberal twits earned exactly what life has given them... in the immortal words of Will Ferrell in the new Get Hard Movie -
Kevin Hart’s character: “if life gives you dick, make dick-ade”
Will Ferrell’s character: “but dick-ade doesn’t sound like much of an improvement over dick”
CFA employees are courteous, gracious and friendly. They will go above and beyond for their customers. I’m sure the company wouldn’t want an arrogant jerk on its payroll. In fact, that’s probably why he can’t find a job anywhere.
Got sick eating KFC a few Years ago.
I just had to use that Coupon they sent me. LOL
Never been back.
Not bad luck. The quality of KFC really went down over the last decade or two. I had the same experience, the KFC food tastes awful now. I hadn't eaten there in years, tried it last year and it was horrible. Wish they would open a Chick-Fil-A closer to my home, nearest is almost an hour away by car.
I heard that they use MSG in their chicken, is that true?
I am allergic to MSG and other preservatives
We have four grandchildren now who all love Chick-Fil-A except for the newborn and her day is coming soon.
My Mom, before she passed last fall, was always delighted when we brought her something from Chick-Fil-A. Four generations of loyal customers . . .
Two of my daughters got their first job out of college in Utah which had a single outlet on a University campus at the time in the entire state. Last visit out there, every town of any size in their part of the state had at least one. Some had two or even more. They were popping up everywhere. It looked like upstate South Carolina when we lived there briefly in 2002 after moving back from Japan.
Please come to Salem, Oregon!
