A U.S. surveillance helicopter hovering over the Rio Grande spots a body floating near a muddy bank on the Mexican side of the river.

Soon another body turns up, then another. A Mexican investigator arrives and holds up his hand confirming the grim tally: four men and a woman.

The grisly discovery last month is part of a spike in drownings since October. Immigrants, desperate to avoid detection at a time of increased patrols, are choosing more dangerous and remote crossings into South Texas. The Border Patrol has responded by expanding its search-and-rescue teams to monitor the area, particularly weed-choked irrigation canals where many of the bodies are being found. …

Should have built a better boat.
Sorry for the loss of life, but this never would happened if they’d entered America legally.

How long until they demand free swimming lessons?

Oh, wait, this is just a warm-up(no pun intended) for the typical scorching hot summers along the border where these same “dreamers” will be exploited by the left as they drop dead from dehydration.

I heard that the river had dried up due to global warming. How does one drown in a dry river.

Agents rescued 131 people from the Rio Grande last fiscal year – Oct. 1 to Sept. 30.
During the past for months they have rescued saved 164 illegal immigrants from the river.

All of the rescues stemmed from failed smuggling attempts.

Agents said more people have drowned. They recovered 39 bodies last fiscal year.
The fatalities for the past four months are up to 55.

I am now quite certain in this matter of the absolute moral bankruptcy and direct personal culpability of those in leadership of both Mexico and the US.

These contemptible shameless apostates of the ruling classes encourage and profit from the wholesale breach of our border. They encourage, subsidize and enable the interlopers.

They soullessly exploit the peasants of Mexico to the point of death. They steal and subvert the birthright of the American middle class to impoverishment and despair.

May God save their souls, or strike them down: Damned to Hell for eternity.

But that is just my opinion, and I do not feel strongly about it.

Probably the word “odious” is the nicest thing one can say about the AP (Associated Praetorians).

Øbama won’t have anything to do with more patrol agents on the border. He’d be very agreeable, though, with adding tens of thousands of life guards.

Way back in ‘61 I stayed with my aunt and uncle in El Centro CA., down by the border. Not nearly the immigration fuss we have now and yet I do remember at least one body/week being found in the canals thereabouts.
Nothing new at all.
