Irving, Texas Mayor Beth Van Duyne has doubled down in the face of criticism and has vowed to fight against Sharia Law with every fiber of her being. Van Duyne is facing criticism from both left wing groups and the muslim community after the city council passed HB 562 which forbids the use of foreign law and confirms the supremacy of U.S. laws.
In response, CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) now demands an apology from Van Duyne citing that HB 562 is a direct attack on the religion of Islam.
According to WND, Van Duyne has sworn to fight with every fiber in my being against the establishment of Shariah law in her town, and despite the outcry from Muslim groups and the leftward media, she has also garnered quite a bit of support from her community, as well as from conservatives around the country.
She even worked with the Texas State Legislature to draft a bill that directly prohibits the use of foreign codes of law in U.S. courts, which was approved by her city council.
Although the bill doesnt mention Islam, or any other religion for that matter, there is little doubt that it is designed to prevent the use of Shariah law in the U.S., as similar laws have been passed in a number of states around the country.
Mayor Van Duyne is courageously standing up for American values and American ideals, even in the face of withering criticisms and demonization launched against her by terrorist front groups like CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood, aided of course by the useful idiots in the media.
Van Duynes stance on Sharia Law is not only bold and brave, but she is exemplifying the core values this country was founded on. Hopefully other government officials follow her lead and stop cowering to those that seek to destroy our country and its principles.
God Bless Texas
Holder’s packing his carpetbags.
They are establishing Islamist “law” courts, this is not uncalled for.
We are being colonized. This is not “diversity”. Islam sees the world as muslim and non-muslim. They are self-segregating (and foreign funded).
I don’t CAIR about the protests.

Her reply to CAIR should be “Yes. Yes it is.”
It will be interesting to see how America’s future majority Hispanic population from Mexico buys into Sharia Law. Somehow, I think heads are going to butt.
It’s like when Obama goes out of his way to inform everyone how ISIS isn’t “Islamic” and I want to ask him one simple question: “Mr. Obama, is Sharia Law Islamic?”. That is the only question I would ask him, if I had the opportunity.
We need to support this mayor - and others like her - however we can, whenever we can.
We have already seen honor killings in Texas (in the Dallas area and Houston).
Polygamy, child bride, slaves, all legal under Islam.
” I think heads are going to butt.”
or perhaps roll off
I have said for years that Mexico and other Hispanic countries may be the ones who save Western civilization, simply because I don’t believe you would hear about them playing PC games with the ROP.
Good. First thing to do is kick them all out.
No they all be living here...
Iran works very hard to make inroads into Latin America. I”m not sure how much they will succeed in cultural influence, but they are trying.
I actually heard a liberal say that opposing Sharia law is an example of the right restricting religious liberty.
I have a bit of a crush on Beth, i actually mentioned it on FB once... She saw it. A bit embarrassing but funny
They are probably going to straighten out the blacks, first. If I were black I would fight like he11 against illegal immigration.
She is awesome, the rest of the council are dopes
More guts than all of Congress ...good for her
There have been honor killings in Irving a taxi driver killed his daughters
