Homicidal ideation.

He just took it one step further from the fantasy stage.

Just a bet....we will find that he’s a gamer somewhere along the way....just a hunch.

I wonder why the gradual descent rather than a nose-down plummet? Extend the terror for the passengers? Is there something built into the controls to disallow such an action?

Just joy. Now, no one is going to want to fly not knowing whether the pilots are crackpots or not. How stupid. Wonder what caused him to take all of those innocent people with him instead of just jumping in front of a train?

He decided to play chicken with a mountain. the mountain didn’t swerve. Suicide by plane. He took a lot of people with him, though. The lake of fire has a new swimmer today, and his name is Andreas Lubitz.

Bring back either a third pilot, flight engineer or navigator so no lone individual is ever left alone on the flight deck or simply put a bathroom in the cockpit so either or never leave the cockpit. Were it my airline .....my opinion.

If he recently converted to the ROP that would explain it. Or recently had a sex-change operation.

Was he Muslim - an ISIS sympathizer? Was he going for a nuclear facility? Did the three fighters France shot out after him drive him from his target?

Lemme get this straight- the pilot has a key to his car door so he can` lock himself out of his own car unless he`s stupid- but a pilot doesn`t have a key to his own cockpit door?

No airline industry can be this stupid. But they are.

Question: was the First Officer a follower of the Religion of Peace?

US and Egypt split on fatal plane crash

Suicidal pilot brought down flight 990 killing 217 people, insist NTSB sources, not a mechanical fault in the plane

EgyptAir flight 990 crash: special report
Michael Ellison in New York
Thursday 8 June 2000 21.11 EDT Last modified on Wednesday 1 October 2014 04.02 EDT

American investigators of a plane crash that killed 217 people last year are wrapping up their inquiry and may approve their conclusions without public hearings for fear of exacerbating strained relations with Egypt.
According to the New York Times, experts at the National Transportation Safety Board are more convinced than ever that a suicidal pilot caused the crash of EgyptAir 990 after it left New York last October.

But the Egyptian government is pressing the theory that the plane, a Boeing 767, developed a mechanical fault in its tail.

...
The investigators still believe that the words of the plane’s 59-year-old co-pilot on the cockpit voice recorder were those of a man saying a farewell prayer. As the aircraft was heading for the Atlantic, 50 miles off Nantucket Island, Gamil al-Batouti said: “Tawakilt ala Allah” or “I put my faith in God”. Then the captain, Ahmed al-Habashi, who is thought to have left the cockpit, returned to say “pull up” or “help me”.

Egyptians say that the Americans misunderstood the co-pilot’s words, a Muslim prayer. “This prayer would never be said in times of crisis,” ...

.
This cannot happen on a US based airline.

Nobody is ever left alone in the cockpit on US planes.

Plan your trips well folks!

Wow, a hundred posts already without a single mention of the Default Reason For All Disasters, namely: "Bush's Fault!"

Likely poor Andreas couldn't take any more of the intense depression that's seen in so many people these days, brought about by the bushmalaise our entire planet has suffered from, for 14 years and counting.

Bushmalaise is to the human spirit what Global Warming combined with The New Ice Age will soon be to all life on the planet when they hit simultaneously.

An insane person would have just put the aircraft into a direct dive to crash into the ground. The relatively slow descent was to show the rest of the world, that the terrorists have the upper hand, and they will cause the most fear and pain that they can!!! The whole horrific incident was coldly planned and excuted, even locking the Captain out of the cabin as an insult, saying, “see we can do anything we wish” I smell a rat here!!! The terrorists discoverd a weak point in the European flight operation via security, and worked cooly as they would play a puppet.

Reminds me of the ISIS terrorist burning of the Jordanian airman.....locking him in cage, dousing him with gasoline, etc., and then lighting a fuse soaked with gasoline, etc., and let it slowly progress to the cage, causing the maximum fear and terror. Don’t count on any assistance from Obama....he’s in bed with the Iranians & his beloved Muslim Brotherhood brethren!!! We got no leaders, just pansies!!!
