California's Next Megadrought Has Already Begun

"This week's moves come after the state has fallen behind targets to increase water efficiency in 2015 amid the state's worst drought in 1,200 years."

Isn’t there a large body of water off their western coast? Good grief. Instead of a stupid train to nowhere, they could have invested billions in desalination plants on the coast. Get a clue, CA.

Maybe California should not have imported and protected millions of illegals. How many resources, water included, are consumed by these multitudes? All of the conservation and green initiatives are likely completely negated and more by the huge population growth.

Water is for fighting over.

Whiskey is for drinking.

There is no greater crisis facing this state than the same old leaders and groups turning their heads as we have yet another drought.

Moonbeam could have championed doing more instead of primping for higher office. Dams, reservoirs,.. But NNOOOooOOOoo..

Open Borders and No Vision.. The Dems and idiots that are the powers that be have been messing California up more than Obama in an ice cream parlor smoking a doob. They been doing it and US for years.

What the heck is Moonbeam smoking now? Still runnning.?

Unlike dammed waters.. We live in damned times.

I think it could get quite bad as I read that past Californian climate the 20th cent was an anomaly as the natural state of California is drought.

Could have dumped a bunch of money into desalinization instead of a retarded bullet train. Maybe they would be ok.

Logical solution: Only verifiable U.S. citizens will be allocated water.

I was just in S. California. Standing in line for breakfast behind me was a former teacher talking about his area - said it was 97% “Spanish”. Said he is trying to get out.

Then we flew to Big Bear for fuel and saw the mountains have only a slight amount of snow and the lakes have docks on dirt since the water has receded so much. The ski areas further north have closed already.

The last thing they needed to do was import more people.

1 - Deport the illegals and there will be water for every US citizen.

2 - Grow crops that don’t require as much water.

I have a plan to get the state water and clean up our west coast at the same time.

Get all the bull dozers in North America, line them up on the Calif border facing west, dig the dozer blades into the soil, and push the state westward until the dozer tracks are in salt water.

Many, many problems solved!

Time to blow up another dam and foul the river for decades with silt.
