The Nevada Senate on Monday passed legislation prohibiting domestic violence abusers from possessing guns and making it easier for gun owners in other states to carry a concealed weapon in Nevada.
Senate Bill 175 also adds an occupied vehicle to Nevada law involving justifiable homicide. It passed on a vote of 14-5 with some Democratic support and now moves to the Assembly, where passage in the Republican-controlled chamber is likely.
State Sen. David Parks, D-Las Vegas, twice tried unsuccessfully to amend the bill on the floor. He wanted to ensure adequate training in other states before Nevada recognizes their concealed weapon permits.

Sounds good as long as rights are taken from people CONVICTED of battery - not just ACCUSED of it.
Ah yes, Nevada is finally geting around to legislating that “domestic abusers” clause that is in the 2nd Amendment, right after, “shall not be infringed except...”
Doesn’t sound good to me, although it’s already Federal law. Real batterers don’t need a gun to maim or kill. And if they want to they can get one anyway. If someone is too dangerous to be trusted with the means to defend themselves, they should be in prison.
They are trying to short circuit Bloomberg’s “universal background check” aka universal registration referendum that is scheduled for 2016.
