Mark Levin just OBLITERATED the argument ‘we need a governor for president’

You know the argument some people are making against Ted Cruz, that we need a governor to be president? Well let me tell you, Mark Levin just completely obliterated that argument like no one else I’ve heard. And he didn’t do it in the name of Ted Cruz or any specific candidate. But it’s awesome and something you’ll definitely want to hear:

If like to see Levin as Sec. State or some other key Cabinet-level position in a Cruz Administration.

You're right.

And i add my point:

Barak Obama is the most evil communist monster ever. not even Carter nor Clinton did all the unconstitutional, ,dictatorial, oppressive executive overreaches this marxist Obama has done. To sick the IRS on conservatives to rig his own reelection and now attempting to regulate the Internet. this monster is pure evil

We’ve also had Governors who made lousy Presidents such as, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and George Bush.

When one looks back at the Reagan presidency, the strongpoints are anti-Communism reflected in Grenada, building up national defense and forcing the USSR to keep up and helping to bring it down. Reagan also helped the freedom fighters in Nicaragua fighting the Sandinista Communist regime.

The tax cut early in his presidency was good, but Congress did not cut spending.

You mention some negatives of his presidency like that one likely to bite us with his opinion on gay marriage in several months (Anthony Kennedy). I could find more.

Reagan had his heart in the right place, a big problem was he surrounded himself with not so conservative people in the name of GOP unity.

A President Cruz had better firm up his staff with real conservatives and take quick action like FDR with his first 100 days.

These types have handled the day to day functions of a large organization, know how to properly delegate authority, able to manage people to get the maximum out of them for the good of the country.

That is exactly the kind of experience a person gains by being the Solicitor General of the State of Texas for five years (a record term) and successfully argue several cases before the SCOTUS!

That’s not my argument. I’m arguing that the Senator v. Governor issue, where both are conservatives, is irrelevant.

In every ‘bad’ case the bad actor was a liberal or left of center. I think GW Bush did a better job than he’s credited for here. We can blame the American people or the GOP itself for not holding or having majorities in Congress.

There are 2 separate questions:
1- do governors make better presidents?
2- do governors make better candidates?

At this juncture, the more important question is 2

Just by announcing, Cruz has moved the entire debate to the right.

True. All the others are put on notice that they can't just give conservatives lip service.

I think that in terms of what is needed at this juncture, Ted Cruze is orders of magnitude better as a candidate than anyone else expected to run.

That's because he is the only one who can passionately articulate the core American values that will set the country back on the right path, and sell those values to an American electorate that has apparently forgotten them or has never been educated about them.

Ok, Ok,........I’ll quit making the argument.

Walker looks good but Cruz sounds good. We’ll see if either can best the apparent money favorite Jeb

As a staunch Cruz supporter I still have to say that I don't think anyone can be "orders of magnitude" better than Scott Walker. Cruz is by far my first choice but thankfully Walker is a very good candidate as well.
