Sen. Ted Cruz no doubt wanted everything to be just right for his official presidential roll-out today at Liberty University in Virginia.

He even went to the trouble of practicing everything from his wave to a kiss with his wife on Sunday.

Enter a group of Rand Paul supporters.

Several students wearing “Stand With Rand” shirts made their way into seats directly behind Cruz on stage this morning. The students' shirts were blurry yet visible in many of the shots during Cruz’s speech....

Hey, thanks for the update on Heidi. Wish I had known that before I opened my big mouth.

Lamest excuses for not voting Cruz, are still going to run these canards; Heidi is a “globalist”, and Cruz is “ineligible” by birthright, so say the birther bots.

The truth is they are for someone else.

Wait until they find out that Ted was instrumental in winning Bush v. Gore and that BOTH of them were in the Bush administration.

Heidi is simply on unpaid leave. That does not exactly make her, “no longer there”. Her salary is pretty wonderful compared to what you and I ever made, certainly enough to contribute to the hubby’s future. I don’t think they had to scrape by at the market in order to eat, from juston her salary. She more than likely had it ALL invested. Ted isn’t Irish, we know that, and sure supported his family comfortably.

I have no axe to grind against her making money, using her brain and her degree at Goldman Sachs. Frankly, we need Wall Street on Ted’s side for funding. If her being there helps, good for her. Not all people are Marxists because they work in a brokerage house. Heidi is a good example.

Umm, I was making mid six figures back in the 1980s selling pay telephones and as a district manager. I’ve seen the other side. I imagine that he was making real money as one of the top Supreme Court lawyers in private practice.

You've been here long enough to know, that on FR, when being sarcastic, one places /s at the end of the post. But then, perhaps you really weren't being "sarcastic" at all.

You would’ve preferred Al Gore in the White House? He was later at the Justice Department, which was not very political before Eric Holder showed up.

Yes, but California pays double because it costs double, or else it certainly has in the past. Perhaps that’s changed.
Houses were double or even triple per square ft., in 1986 according to my source in one California neighborhood.
