Loretta Lynch stays in limbo as Senate prepares to take up other matters
Washington Compost ^ | 03/21/2015 | Mike DeBonis

The Senate had two things to do this week — pass a bill cracking down on sex slavery, and vote on the nomination of Loretta Lynch to be attorney general — and it did neither of them.

So barring an eleventh-hour weekend compromise, Lynch, who would become the first black woman to serve as attorney general, will wait until at least mid-April before a confirmation vote is held, extending an unusually long wait that Democrats have tried to turn to their political advantage by portraying the delay as tied to Lynch’s race and gender.

Obama will just have her sworn in and Holder will give her the key.

I’m not sure if she has a fifty-one plus vote deal. The Democrats might find five or six Republicans, and this all clears through. If she doesn’t pass...it’ll really push the White House into a ‘tizzy’ and it might be June before another guy is nominated and more Senate hearings held for that individual.

If he does that, there will be a rope and a tree for all three of them before the next sunrise.

I hope he does it.

He’s going to become more and more obstinate.

She is going to sail thru with at least 75 votes and the only reason she won’t get more is so that some RINOs can say they voted against her because they ‘disagree’ with her, it will really be that mc connel ‘allowed’ them to vote against her because their votes weren’t needed.

With mc connel and boner in charge, little king dingle-berrie gets whatever he wants, they will PRETEND to put up a fight but they will cave in the end.

Democrats have tried to turn to their political advantage by portraying the delay as tied to Lynch’s race and gender.

Since Holder remains in office the race card is pretty weak. The gender card is okay as long as everyone understands it is liberal gender we are having trouble getting our minds around. Harq, Psaki, Rice, Clinton, Nepolitano, Sebelius, Power etc. just don't give us confidence in abilities.

They can Lynch Holder by making him wait for that 1.5 million dollar a week job from JP MOrgan and Cheat.

I want my bribe now! Call JG Wentworf.

The dems are even dumber than I thought if they still think the race card thing works anymore.

The corners of that card and all the creases running through it by now has made it worthless to any American with 2 brain cells to rub together.

Then again; we ARE talking about liberal dems here so....

Any time the Democrats don’t get their way, it’s “racism.”

they will PRETEND to put up a fight but they will cave in the end.

If they're thinking of waiting for the remaining two years for the catastrophes that will propel a Republican into the Presidency, they're going to be "cutting it close"!

The race card still works with Republicans in both houses of congress. They are all scared of being accused of racism.

I'm going to be really politically incorrect here. The black population of the US is approximately 15%. The probability of a black being the most qualified person for that position two times in a row is 9 out of 400.

Of course they should be skeptical of Obama nominations.

This is a great time to stand up to Obama, the dictator, and say no. She is nothing more than a Holder clone and will become a puppet of Obama to continue his shredding of the Constitution. The pubbies are a few votes short of denying her the AG job. Hatch, Collins, & Flake are RINOS who say they will vote for her. Deluge their offices with calls and e-mails.

Obama will give her a recess appointment as soon as the senate adjourns for the summer.

A vote for Loretta Lynch is a vote to give aid and comfort to the enemy.
