Outside of a single mention of Ted Cruz, this ‘conservative’ young woman never once mentioned anything about him afterwards.
There was, IMO, an inordinate amount of discussion about Rand Paul - too much in fact. Then some passing remarks on Palin, Carson, Christie and Fiorina, then onto the real pump up of the piece - Scott Walker.
I’m not going to trash him. Jeb Bush has that sole honor for me. I just find it disappointing that an after-action report piece contains so little objective reporting.
Cruz all the way, ignore the tools
Similarly, I believe gay marriage is going to be legalized in all 50 states sooner or later. Heavily opposed politicians are wasting their time and energy trying to fight it.
Standing up for what is right and fighting against the growing perversion of our socity is never a waste of time
My top choices for a 2016 bid are Walker and Bush.
HUH? Two opposite ends of the spectrum?
“It is 1979 in America; Obama is looking like President Jimmy Carter with his ineffective management style and failures in the Middle East.”
IMHO, Obama is far, far worse than Carter. Carter was a poor President, but he did make a couple of good calls here and there. Obama has been a disaster of the first order, and he’s not done yet.
“Next year is our 1980.”
I hope so, I truly do. I think a 2016 Republican win will look more like 1968 than 1980, but I’ll take it.
Paul spent last year lecturing the GOP on race after falling for the Ferguson fraud. Walker's hiring of an bitchy amnesty pimp as media guru (Liz Mair) and his flip-flops on immigration make his judgment suspect and his trustworthiness even more so. Ben Carson seems like he hasn't picked up a newspaper in the past 10 years. His interview with Hugh Hewitt yesterday shows incredible ignorance of foreign affairs and Islamic fundamentalism. And his disturbing past statements on guns and amnesty left me cold. Jeb Bush is an Arabist, Progressive stooge from a family which never should have had a place in American politics, but for Reagan's biggest error.
Ted Cruz is the only one I would support, although he is far from perfect. Is there ANYONE else? This field is so unimpressive. Reagan was a giant. This is the JV team.
And it only gets sillier from there, folks....

“It is 1979 in America; Obama is looking like President Jimmy Carter with his ineffective management style and failures in the Middle East”
His management style is fine for a dictator. Carter wouldn’t have dreamed of pulling the crap this joker is.
This in 1979 to some extent as we have some potential candidates that may actually be able to get the whites to again vote as a block (see my home page).
These include Cruz, Cotton, and maybe Walker (although his Amnesty problem will be hard to get away from).
But it is possible to get them to self-deport if we remove their incentive to stay by vigorous enforcement of employment laws and elimination of "social services" for illegals.
Here’s my latest dream lineup
Prez : Ted Cruz (preferred, Walker is a good backup but he kills me on immigration waffling)
VP: not sure
Sec state: bolton
Sec Def: West
Sec HLS - only one I’m not sure of - unsure who is strong enough and conservative for this one - needs to be renamed anyway and reorgd.
Sec Energy/Transportation: Palin (don’t need 2)or Perry
Sec Treasury & Commerce & Labor: Forbes (don’t need 3) or Perry or Fiorina
AG: Giuliani or the sheriff in Milwaukee or the one in AZ (though not happy with Giuli on gun rights cruz would keep him honest)
Interior/HUD/Agri: Pence or Daniels (don’t need 3)
Vets/HHS/Surgeon General: Carson
eliminate ed/epa
Trying not to use current senators/reps/governors (unless time is coming up) and keep a solid conservative bias.
