Arthur, you should know by now that there are no Medal of Honor "winners". Only recipients. Mostly because if you receive it, you've been mostly dead. :)
Of course, the TSA don't know what dat is - it just looks like a dangerous gold star-weapon thingee...
The correct phrase is Medal Of Honor Recipient.
But I know you meant it as a good thing
A Medal of Honor isn’t “won”, it is earned.
Another example, one doesn’t “win” a M.D. or PhD.
