America cannot solve all problems in the world because of limited resources. There are limits to America's power.

Can America afford the $10 trillion it will take to wage war and occupy Iran?Red Herring. No need to occupy or even invade; just destroy their nuclear capability once and for all.

Can America afford NOT to go to war with Iran?
The answer hinges on the Iran deal.
I think, for the sake of our children and grand children, we can’t afford to let them have a nuke, no matter the cost.

The reason the Iraq war cost so much is that it was protracted by those who were for it before they were against it.
The dims, like kerry, did everything in their power to make President Bush look bad and it was chiefly for their political gain. It got us obummer as an added bonus.

Can the USA afford to wait until Iran nukes us?
Iran certainly does not believe there are limitations on their power. Why must the USA perceive limits thereof either, eh? You are just fine with the planet being reduced to a smoking cinder?

How much would it cost America to allow Israel to blow Iran’s nuclear program into the distant future?

Vanity Fair estimated the cost of the Iraq War to be $3 trillion. That is only one side of the equation. What is the cost of not fighting a war with a non-nuclear Iran while we still have that option? What is the cost of fighting a six day war to eliminate their entire nuclear infrastructure so that they have to start from scratch on everything material in their nuclear program, and then leaving without any long-term effort at regime change or nation-building?

Who wants to occupy iran? This article is a giant red herring. Just destroy the nuclear bomb factories and ICBMs. Can be done in a matter of days by our great USAF End of file .

wage war and occupy Iran Seems to me that Vanity Fair is setting up a straw man argument here. There are calls for the US (and/or Israel) to strike hard at Iran's nuclear facilities, and destroy them.
However, no one is calling for a ground army to invade and occupy Iran.

Plus, America is not philosophically or spiritually equipped to fight Iran. Our next fight needs to be here.

Arm the opposition, take down their ruling structure, and let the populace rise up on its own. The brave young people of the Green Movement screamed for our help in 2009 and received not even a word of encouragement from the West.

Don't forget John the traitor Kerry has a son in law form Iran.
Where did these costs of war come form? Give Israel, Saudi Arabia or some other country the go ahead and send them some supplies and the problem is fixed.
