LOL, I learned the phrase after working up there and hearing how they put the south down and southerners are stupid.

So the agreement is a piece of crap, but the republicans are traitors for saying for saying so.

By Jove, you get it! To say, during the reign of Obama, that the Emperor is unclothed is a treasonous act. Of course, when there’s a Republican in the White House, such an assertion represents the highest level of patriotism.

Can anyone with better knowledge than me tell me what exactly Obama is trying to do, and if he has any power to do so?

Disagreeing with the President is not treason.

Iran’s first two nukes will be for Israel and us. The only question is, who will be first?

Whether the attack comes tomorrow or in ten years, it WILL happen. Just count the hundreds (thousands?) of times Iran has said they want to wipe Israel off the map.

This “ten year” business is an outrageous example of “kick the can.” Iran must be stopped, the sooner the better.

Because they are all cut from the same cloth.

Don’t you see yet that it doesn’t make an ounce of difference who is in charge, it is the machine that matters.

They have to keep the machine fed. And these days, the machine is the Military Industrial Complex. And, even look around here at FR, if you wave the flag and promote war against “enemies” they will march right down the path to more butchery.

Our machine is so entangled around the world we cannot get out of it. At least not alive.

One of the problems in this country is a complete disrespect for tradition.

I am not suggesting that Obama follows it either. But “traditionally” our country has allowed the executive to manage the foreign relationships. The Senate ratifies treaties that are brought to it.

Now, it appears that our Senate is following the marching orders from Bibi. That concerns me.

When a culture loses its traditions, we lose a piece of ourselves. I could cite examples from Vatican II to the Designated Hitter. This is much more serious.

When the legislative takes over like this, foreign powers do not know who to deal with, and we cannot make any agreements. After that we are no better than mob rule, and THAT is when we are ripe for a Coup or a Dictator.

Tradition and history are good things to pay attention to. If you respect neither, you will loose what you have.

Dang! I was beginning to think they had forgotten there was such a word as ‘traitor.’ Now they just need to look it up. Then the media might start to rediscover the English language.

There are 47 (or maybe 49 now?) signatories, but the four pictured on the Daily News’ “TRAITORS” cover are McConnell, Cruz, Cotton, and Paul.

Shows the papers think that if Congress does its job its treason.

Well, now that the “T” words (treason, treachery) are out in the media, let’s apply them properly. The big “T” resides in the White House and the agencies it controls. The number of anti-American (culturally, politically) appointees is staggering and unprecedented. We’ve had a shadow Marxist/Muslim coup.

OK press... you’ve opened the Pandora’s Box... now run with it.

Wow, That’s correct .. and what Ted Kennedy did was way beyond what the current Congress did.

Congress is an equal branch.

I am pretty much convinced that Texas doesn’t belong in the same country as New York.
