New Israel Fund Paid Millions To Undermine Israel Via State Department
Pamela Geller ^ | 3/9/15 | Pamela Geller

Posted on 03/09/2015 11:06:10 PM PDT by Nachum

According to Edwin Black on The Daily Caller today, the New Israel Fund received more than $1 Million dollars in funding from the State Department. As Black noted, “Vocal critics in both the U.S. and Israel charge that the New Israel Fund has knowingly financed groups that support the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and worked to get Israeli soldiers prosecuted for so-called ‘war crimes.”

Benny Yanay of an Israeli military organization called Consensus, representing some 3,000 members of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), stated, “The New Israel Fund acts against Israel — against the soldiers of our country. It is supported by foreign governments and organizations so that Israeli soldiers will be weakened.” Other Israel military men and women have alleged that the NIF is trying to “destabilize the IDF.”

Consistent with the State Department to work with the Anti-Israel New Israel Fund.

The New Israel Fund has many connectors to the State Department. As this State Department link notes here, the JCRC –NY has a long standing relationship with the State Department. So, too does Bob Kaplan of the organization (who reports directly to JCRC boss Michael Miller) tout close relations, via Linkedin, where he claims “He has been called upon by”..”the United States Department of State to consult on inter-ethnic community building and conflict resolution.” Does that include the NIF? As of press time, we have no answer.

IMHO, NewIsraelFund has been working hard to undermine, weaken, and eventually destroy Israel...
it is, again my opinion, an enemy wolf in sheep’s disguise...

New Israel Fund is NOT to be confused with
One Israel Fund, which raises $ to help Isarelis defend their homes, build community facilities, etc.

In my humble opinion,
NIF bad bad.
OIF good good.

Jerusalem really needs to find ways to clamp down, eliminate some of the worst enemy agents working inside Israel to destroy her

OIF
PeaceNow, socalled
UN this and that
EU this and that

you know the list a lot better than I from afar, but
there are obviously hundreds of millions of dollars being sent into Israel to destroy her, taking advantage of her open public square, free speech, etc...

certainly any foreign agents can be summarily deported and barred from reentry.

then, a careful prudent examination of what can be done to limit the damage from internal enemy agents like some of the PN people maybe, or?

sedition is a crime even in wonderful USA, and yes I realize it can be mis-used..... I am just suggesting that a careful prudent examination be undertaken to see what reasonably can be achieved to protect Israel from those that seek to destroy her from within, is all. SOMETHING, some progress should be possible....??

The best ‘progress’ would be a huge victory in Israel for Netanyahu. Then, using the power of his position, prosecute the Israeli seditionists and make them serve time in an Israeli prison.

Yes I understand. Hopefully he will let home construction proceed and at least deport the enemy agents from abroad. Oh yes, and have the police protect Jews and Christians seeking to pray at the Temple Mount.

Not only Antisemitism. When I read “worked to get Israeli soldiers prosecuted for so-called ‘war crimes.”” I recalled another thread from today...”Yet my grandfathers were at least treated as heroes. Less than ten — seven to be exact — of all the Americans who fought in the WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars were ever tried and convicted of a “crime during combat” according to United American Patriots. Alas, for veterans who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, there has been a 2,943% increase in U.S. veterans who have been convicted of war crimes.”

from True Stories of Soldiers Left Behind (www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3265986/posts).

I think whoever is trying to take down Israel, has many years taking down America. At least 6 years that I am sure of. I also had to re-read that percentage, two-thousand nine hundred forty three. My blood is boiling. These are convictions.

When it comes to soldier conduct during combat....normal rules simply cannot apply IMO.

These brave lads are operating in an arena where insanity is the norm. We ask then to protect us by entering into this maelstrom and then we seek to prosecute them!? WTF

War is largely outside the norms of polite society...different rules apply...war is hell.

In Israel, combat soldiers joke about needing a special combat military liaison of lawyers as they move out on a mission...
This is a joke. Israel is not under the world's microscope but rather electron-microscope. No other Army goes out of it's way to avoid civilian casualties and despite this they are vilified in the worst possible way, every time.

A message “That they may know that You alone, whose name is the Lord,
Art the Most High over all the earth.”

1. O God, do not remain quiet;
Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still.
2 For behold, Your enemies make an uproar,
And those who hate You have exalted themselves.
3 They make shrewd plans against Your people,
And conspire together against Your treasured ones.
4 They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation,
That the name of Israel be remembered no more.”
5 For they have conspired together with one mind;
Against You they make a covenant:
6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
Moab and the Hagrites;
7 Gebal and Ammon and Amalek,
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assyria also has joined with them;
They have become a help to the children of Lot. Selah.

9 Deal with them as with Midian,
As with Sisera and Jabin at the torrent of Kishon,
10 Who were destroyed at En-dor,
Who became as dung for the ground.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb
And all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 Who said, “Let us possess for ourselves
The pastures of God.”

13 O my God, make them like the whirling dust,
Like chaff before the wind.
14 Like fire that burns the forest
And like a flame that sets the mountains on fire,
15 So pursue them with Your tempest
And terrify them with Your storm.
16 Fill their faces with dishonor,
That they may seek Your name, O Lord.
17 Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever,
And let them be humiliated and perish,
18 That they may know that You alone, whose name is the Lord,
Art the Most High over all the earth.

Psalm 83

Just shut it down already. 99.9% of Fedzilla is illegal, immoral and unconstitutional.

It would be nice, for a change, to take home 100%, give what and how much to those *I* feel deserve, SAVE, SPEND or do whatever the hell *I* want to do with *MY* property.

Beginning in the pre-WW2 years and for decades since there's been a strong anti-Israel, anti-semetic, pro-Arab "street" in the State Department. My late 2nd-cousin was career State. He saw service in many U.S. diplomatic posts (in State's economic division) throughout the world.....Italy, the Hague, North Africa, Paris, Thailand....

The ideological makeup of the career high muckie-mucks and over-educated left-wing idiots who populate the halls at State would curl your hair.

It's little wonder that a professional career with the State Department is the number one goal of government-minded graduates from the ivied east coast commie universities. My cousin was University of Chicago, a seething cauldron of marxism since its founding. (The U of C intellectual and neighborhood environs were the stamping grounds of the marxist Obama in his "community organizer" days).

Most State Dept. careerists have viewed the U.S. as "imperialistic" and "filthy capitalists" (which includes Jews) for well over a half-century...and it continues to this day. We know quite well the contempt with which Obama and his anti-semetic, pro-Islam DC thugocracy views Israel and its realistic Prime Minister.

Agreed. Worse when civilians are used as shields and the media and enemy use those deaths as propaganda.
