Oh no!

Did they need permission from the Muslim tyrant from Kenya before mailing the letter?

Might it be another dreaded “protocol breach”?

Hutzpah, audacity, unmitigated gall by whoever this Luciano is. Utter horseshit. Go back to the drawing board and take a look at even the most recent violations of US law by Hillary, for example. If he cares, he can look at most anything Obama has done in 6 years to find dozens of said “law breaking.”

Go stick it where the sun don’t shine Luciano.

RE: that does not mean they have the “authority of the United States” as required by the law

Where in the letter did they say they have the “authority of the United States” as required by law?

Is there any law against a group of Senators writing a letter to the Iranian government?

RE: this letter is neither advice, nor consent.

So?

What if I as a US citizen write a letter to the Iranian government?

I am not advising or consenting on anything the President does by doing so. I am simply exercising my freedom of speech just as these Senators are doing.

How does that violate any law?

Nothing funnier than a leftist who loses control of his bodily functions because he deems the the Constitution has been violated. Especially in the era of Obama.

I wonder what this brainstem thinks of the Boland Amendments, to name one of the more infamous examples.

Suddenly the left cares about the Logan Act.

Great - let’s start by jailing Jimmy Carter.

47 Republicans May Have Just Broken the Law By Writing An Outrageous Letter To Iran

I am getting to the point where I no longer have a great deal of concern for what "the Law" says about anything. We've had a good teacher in disregarding inconvenient laws, and since he's broken new ground, we might as well exploit it.

When you break moral law, who cares what secular law says?

That’s now illegal according to this “retard.”

All hail King Big Ears.

It’s about darn time.

Besides, I thought Democrats had no problem with breaking the law.

Compare that letter with the letter that Harry Reid wrote to about Rush Limbaugh, where he used his Senate position to stifle the expression of free speech of an American citizen.
