It's Over, Hillary

... And now that Secretary Clinton is on the cusp of announcing her 2016 run for the presidency, it is very interesting that the New York Times decides to break the Hillary email story, and create this "scandale du jour." The silence, until just recently from Secretary Clinton, about her emails and her apparent defiance of the federal records laws shows either hubris or incompetence. Her tweet, "I want the public to see my email" rings hollow, with a slight hint of bubbling desperation.

But does Hillary really understand that this smoldering scandal is not like the others, that 2015 is not the heyday of the 1990s? Apparently not, and apparently Secretary Clinton is finding that her welcome mat is being rolled up. As our favorite former Obama pastor rousingly cried, "the chickens are coming home to roost."

[snip]

With the 2014 electoral shellacking the Democrats received at federal, state, and local levels, retaining the White House is foremost in the minds of the Democratic Party power brokers, donors, and grassroots diehards. Hillary's disastrous book tour last year, her silence over major foreign policy events, and now the brewing disaster of "Emailgate" is proving that the Clinton brand and more importantly, Hillary herself, are not as stellar and untouchable as they once were. Hillary is now a blast from the past, and her latest run-in with infamy is showing incompetence at the highest levels to a new voting demographic.

Long a cheerleader, and co-partner in Clinton, Inc., the liberal media smells blood. The swan song of Hillary Clinton can actually be visualized. Many pundits and long-time Hillary watchers may say don't count her out yet, she's a survivor, others have had private email accounts, etc., etc. Not this time. Hillary is now becoming more of a detriment than a crowd-pleaser.

Protecting Federal Records and Other Documentary Materials from Unauthorized Removal
nara bulletin 2008–02

6. How must officials and employees maintain records and documentary materials to distinguish and separate the different types of materials?
a. Federal records must be maintained in agency files or electronic record keeping systems. Officials and employees must know how to ensure that records are incorporated into files or electronic recordkeeping systems, especially records that were generated electronically on personal computers. Only records needed for current operations, such as open case files, may be maintained at the official’s or employee’s desk.

I’ve read enough obituaries here on FR and every other political outlet to know that the dead do, indeed, rise again. Us hicks like to say: ‘don’t count yer chickens before they hatch.’

Great point. Roger Ailes is just a media guy savvy enough to capitalize on the conservative viewer-base. But he is just another media guy - he is NOT necessarily a conservative. And he obviously did not back a deep peak into BHO’s closet.

Whether we like to admit it, both Bill and Obama have something that Hillary is lacking: CHARISMA. Also, both are great public speakers. Bill’s: I feel your pain. He was a master. The dumb women swooned for him. Same thing with Obama.
He is a great stump speaker when he was prepared and rehearsed with his favorite companion the Tele promoter.

Hillary does not have that charisma, IMHO. She is not cool, like Obama. I do not think she appeals to the young kids.

So, who do the Dems have?

——the liberal media smells blood——

So they have a dilemma.

Do they lap up the blood or continue the propaganda?

Most importantly, Warren has said she doesn’t want to run. I think she likes her life now and doesn’t want the rigors of a campaign, let alone the presidency.

Last think you want in a tough election year is a candidate who’s running by default. But, hey, if they want to draft her, fine with me.

It would feel sweeter if it weren’t that the Democrats want her out because they think she isn’t far enough Left.

Just being in the game, becoming the answer to, “who was the first female nominee for either of the two main political parties?” will be enough to keep her in the game.

Let's not forget that the longer she stays in the more money she scarfs up and the longer she stays in, the longer she wields power thus fulfilling her craving for money and power.

Honesty and accountability do not exist in her vocabulary. Hillary exists to corrupt!!!

Hillary can be President, of her jail cell.

She'd never, ever be satisfied with that. She'd have to at least be President of the entire prison wing.

[[Bill HAD popularity. Hillary never has. ]]

I dunno about that- She’s a woman, a liberal, and she’s a Clinton, and this country has proven it’s incapable of sensible choice- After the first election of BO I thought meh’ the people just want a change- I hated that they chose someone as liberal and unknown - and that they chose a democrat- but I thought- let’s just get through this 4 years and move on- then I watched as he got elected a second term even with the abysmal unemployment rates, gas prices so dang high, Seniors not getting cost of living increases for 4 years practically- and was simply stunned at the ignorance of the people who voted him in again-

My fear is that the left will lie- per usual, by declaring they have started a great economic rebound, and that the country can’t afford to switch parties mid stream, and the people will be eager for a woman president because, as well all know- being different is far more important than being right [s/]

I lost faith in America’s ability to make the right choice after watching our current leader destroy this nation for 4 years, then reelect him for another 4

I’m rooting for her to stay in. The top dems have to be out of their minds now worrying about her. Theres no plan B. I really want her to run. Can you see her in a debate saying something along the lines of what difference does it make or any other inanity? She’ll lose states they thought they had locked up forever.

Yep. Hill is being officially dumped by the Democrat party. The tribe has spoken. I have a crisp $5 bill and a pitcher of Margaritas coming my way from a months long bet with my best girlfriend. :-)

CBS News' Bill Plante asked Mr. Obama Saturday when he learned about Hillary's private email system. "The same time everybody else learned it through news reports," the president told Plante. Despite alarms being raised WRT Hillary's use of personal emails for sending/receiving classified information, the president defended her. "Let me just say that Hillary Clinton is and has been an outstanding public servant," Mr. Obama told Plante. He added: "The policy of my administration is to encourage transparency, which is why my emails, the BlackBerry I carry around, all those records are available and archived," Mr. Obama said. "I'm glad that Hillary's instructed that those emails about official business need to be disclosed."

========================================

THE REPORT WE ALL WANT TO SEE:

<><> dates and times of Hillary's emails WRT to classified US foreign policy issues,

<><> dates and times of Obama's official statements on said foreign policy issues,

<><> dates and times of foreign govt donations to the Clinton Foundation(s).
